About this property

NEW LISTING: Charming Farmhouse on 100 Acres in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom

Escape to the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom with a stay at Daniels House, a classic farmhouse set on 100 private acres of woods and trails. Whether you’re gathering with family, reconnecting with friends, or exploring the area’s natural beauty, this home provides a welcoming and peaceful retreat.

The house features four bedrooms, plus a small bonus room off the primary bedroom with two twin beds—perfect for families. A large upstairs bathroom includes a jacuzzi tub, while a smaller downstairs bathroom offers a soaking tub. The newly renovated kitchen (completed in 2024) blends modern convenience with the home’s historic charm.

For those working remotely, reliable WiFi and a dedicated office nook with a desk provide a comfortable workspace. In the cooler months, enjoy the warmth of a well-stocked wood stove, perfect for cozy fireside evenings.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the location. Cross-country ski trails run directly through the property, and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center is just a short drive away. In the summer, the area is a fantastic destination for cyclists, with scenic backroads and well-maintained gravel routes perfect for exploring the rolling countryside. Lake Caspian, Sterling College, and the town of Greensboro are also nearby. The area is a haven for local food lovers, with easy access to Hill Farmstead Brewery, Jasper Hill Cheese, Pete’s Greens, and other renowned local producers.

Please note: There is a separate apartment above the garage occupied by two long-term tenants, but the property still offers ample privacy.

Come experience the beauty and tranquility of this special family homestead.
