Why they chose this property
Rolando Village is a quiet, hidden neighborhood in San Diego’s Eastern Area. First laid out in the 1920s and built primarily in the postwar boom of the 1940s and 50s, Rolando is home to the nostalgic architecture and beauty of close-knit, charming bungalow-style houses set in rolling hills.
March Annual Street Fair. One of San Diego’s only neighborhood street fairs, the village of Rolando welcomes all to celebrate the diversity that exists in San Diego communities. This event is organized by the community that hosts it and showcases local talent from crafts, to food, to music. This all day event is free to attend, including a full line up of local of bands. Rolando Village has 8 walkways and stairways, called “catwalks” making it a great walking neighborhood.
