Saundra's house was incredible. We stayed here while we were working at an event nearby catering, and it was the perfect place to relax on our downtime. In the mornings, we sipped coffee out on the deck looking over the Trinity River. In the height of the afternoon when it was in the 90s, we were able to take a dip in the pool. The kitchen is lovely and great for making ourselves some meals. When it's hot out, the upstairs where the bedrooms are can get hot but she's got ceiling fans and a box fan available to use. We found that if we just opened the windows and turned on the fans around 6, the upstairs was cool by bedtime. We really loved the big sun room too! Booking and checkin were both a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and already discussed coming back for a vacation--we can only imagine how picturesque this place is on a rainy, moody winter weekend.

Bigfoot Daze

We really liked this property. Nice and cozy place not far from town, but surrounded by beautiful views. We had family members from two states getting together for the first time in 10 years.

Lovely stay

Just as listed! We enjoyed this property. Note, you won't have cell reception/internet at the house until you log into house WiFi. Take a picture of the door code before you loose signal.

We really enjoyed our stay here!!!! It was so beautiful and relaxing. We didn’t realize the upstairs where we sleep wouldn’t be air conditioned, but quickly acclimated to cooling it with the drop in evening temps and fans. The host is lovely and accommodating, we enjoyed waking to the cooled mountain air and falling asleep exhausted from exploring.

Even on 100 degree days the air con unit downstairs was effective at keeping the indoor temperature downstairs cool! The host was very responsive throughout the stay and had cute details like a jar of dog treats and extra bowls if you forget yours. It's a very pet friendly home.
