Room was nice and quite clean, and a check-in hiccup was resolved quickly! Hosts seemed kind and responsive, and the location was perfect for our weekend in Halifax.
The property was really nice to stay at, it had mugs and coffee available, the a/c and fan was a nice touch, and the beds were pretty comfortable.

Cute room!. Host met us and was helpful with parking and checkin. Love the location. Small room but has everything we need for a short stay. Will recommend to friends and would return again.

Would definitely come back again! We loved that it was in the heart of halifax, close to the dining scene!
Great location. The spot was very clean and conveniently located to visit the waterfront. We had an issue with the AC and the owners were quick to respond and quick to come fix the problem. Communication was great and check in was very easy. Would recommend this place!
Cute space in a great location. Host was responsive and parking setup (with space in nearby lot) worked out well. Would have appreciated a bit more space (e.g. couch / sitting area, formal kitchen) and laundry (washer / dryer) in the unit, but setup was aligned with what we would have gotten in a hotel and worked for our short visit. Would stay again.
I booked my parents into Lane's hotel style accommodation while my family and I stayed in another one of his larger units in a building about a minute away. The location was incredible (only a one minute walk to the waterfront). The unit was very clean, comfy and the exposed bricks and historic features were really interesting and cool to be immersed in. Another cool feature was that the Lieutenant Governor's mansion, which is a pretty famous Halifax attraction, was directly across the street. My parents loved it and said they would definitely stay here again! Lane was great to deal with and I want to stay with him the next time I am on the east cost.

This was a great location for any downtown experience, walkable.
Parking is an issue with only two spots at the building, but 6 units within to be accommodated with parking.
The room was very nice and very clean.
It was definitely short on outlets. Perhaps provide a power bar or two, include the ones with USB ports. Shy on lighting as well. Perhaps a second lamp and some task lighting in the area of the appliances. Either battery operated or plug in and wall mounted.
Some wall hooks would also be helpful for hanging coats/jackets, bags etc. All in all, a lovely space, just a few small adjustments to make it more enjoyable.
The property is very well located, super close to the boardwalk and via rail station and Pier 21. It was clean and quite well equipped. However it was on the third floor with no lift so lugging suitcases up was not easy. The photo did not exactly match the actual room we got. The bed was too soft and the pillows very skimpy. There was tea and coffee provided but the tea was in an unmarked ziplock bag and no idea which kind it was. It smelled old and stale. The air conditioner was extremely loud. There was no bedside lamp on one side. The room was quite small and so we felt overall it was overpriced for what we got. At $100 less per night I would say it would have been a good place for a night or two. Definitely not ideal for many nights nor for heavy luggage. But very convenient for anyone going by train like us.
Location was ideal, building a bit tired but room was in good condition. Low ceiling in portion of the room so made room smallerAC unit was difficult to figure out
