Thank you for staying with Liquid Life at C1011C - Caribe Resort 1011C. I’m very sorry your stay fell short of expectations — the mildew odor, visible water damage, stained/crumbling carpet exposing nails and mold, dusty vents, improper dryer hookup, unclean shower, and the recurring ice‑machine leak are unacceptable. We’ll take the following actions immediately: - Remove the unit from rentals until a full inspection and remediation are complete. - Locate and repair the source of water intrusion and any damaged building materials. - Remove and replace affected flooring/padding as needed and remediate any mold/mildew. - Deep‑clean and sanitize the entire condo (HVAC vents, appliances, showers) and replace items that fail health/safety checks. - Repair/secure the dryer hookup and fully replace or repair the ice machine and verify there are no remaining leaks. - Strengthen turnover and quality‑control checklists and retrain staff to prevent masking odors or renting units that need repairs. - Investigate how this unit was approved for rental and improve our escalation and booking safeguards. - Review our guest‑response and compensation handling to ensure faster, fuller resolutions for serious issues.
