Wonderful spot!

We have enjoyed staying in this apartment so much that we returned this year for our third visit. Located in a quiet safe neighbourhood close to Kapiolani park, beaches, Waikiki and local cafes. This accommodation has loads of room and includes a washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen, air conditioning, parking spot, pool …Very impressed with communication from the hosts, we highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

This apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need. The parking spot is a real bonus since we like to explore the island. Amazing location

You can’t beat this safe and convenient location, close to park, beach, restaurants and Waikiki. The apartment is well stocked including beach chairs, etc. and the parking spot is a real bonus. Excellent communication from hosts. We would LOVE to return next year…

Best Location in Waikiki/Diamond Head

We stayed for six weeks between the sale of one home and the purchase of another, so we are very familiar with Honolulu, Waikiki, Diamond Head, etc. If you want to be near Waikiki/Diamond Head but not in the noisy hustle of Waikiki - this is the place for you! This condo has everything you need for an amazing stay. Dining room table, large sofa, full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, super comfy queen size bed and bathroom, AND A/C! The owners are very attentive and friendly, which makes this place even better. Oh, and there is a designated parking spot, which is THE BEST because it is not easy to find parking in this area. If you book here, you will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful location

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the foot of Diamond Head. Yet it's just a 10 minute walk across a lovely park to the beach, and a 20 minute walk to all the activities of Waikiki. Along Montsarrat Avenue, there are lots of cafes and shops, and it's a 20 minute walk to the weekly KCC farmers market, which has amazing fresh fruits and vegetables. Michelle was very attentive to my needs and addressed any concerns promptly. I had a great vacation!

The perfect location!

I was on Oahu on business and was originally put in a hotel in Waikiki, and while it was okay it was just to busy for my liking. I came across this location, and to my luck it was available for the remainder of my stay. The location was just what I needed, outside of the main tourist area, but easily just a walk away from it all. Sitting at the base of Diamond Head, you don't have to listen to all the traffic or noise of the city. I stayed here for almost a month, I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of a rooster crowing and the sounds of animals from the zoo that is only a block away. Coming back to the condo at the end of my work was like coming home. The condo is nicely decorated and has a very comfy feeling. There are parks near by if you are into jogging, and the beach is only about a ten minute walk away. On Friday evening you can even watch the fireworks right front the dining room. And as if all of this wasn't enough, there is also an assigned parking spot. It was nice coming home and not having to worry about finding a place to park. Like I said, "the perfect location". I will definitely be back again.

A glorious stay

We have just returned from a glorious stay at this property! It was our first visit with local family in more than a year and provided us with a home base. This apartment is well located in a walkable area, is very comfortable, and well equipped with everything you'd need for beach trips or picnics.

Great location, pleasant stay, good value.

We rented this unit because we had to work in Honolulu for a month on a job assignment. The property owner, Michelle, was very nice, responsive and helpful. Location is the best thing about this property! The property is clean, well-stocked, and in a quiet/safe area of small mid-century condo buildings at the base of Diamond Head. The views from the dining table toward Waikiki's skyline are great, and you can see the fireworks on Friday nights. The swimming pool at this condo complex is actually beautiful (looks brand new), and the area around it was quiet and great for reading in the late afternoons The location was excellent with several great little eating places nearby. Favorites were Diamond Head Grill, Pioneer Saloon (all kinds of great Asian dishes), Morey's, Bogarts for breakfast, and South Shore grill for great fish tacos and macnut pesto chicken. The restaurants are all about 10 to 15 minute walk. You can walk to the heart of Waikiki in 30 minutes (close enough but not too close). It is just a 15 minute walk to the public beach at Kapi'olani park which was great. Lots of parks and green space in this area which we really appreciated in a city like Honolulu. Our favorite thing was walking at 4:30pm each day (after work) from the condo, through the community garden, across the huge community sports fields, and into Kapi'olani park to then walk along the beach to Waikiki for sunset cocktails. The reason we loved that aspect so much was that to get to the beach you just walk through park space - no busy streets and buildings. We did not have a car, so we used Uber some, and we often walked at night- we always felt safe in this area. The only slight inconvenience is not having strong A/C. Most of the mid-century condo buildings and houses around here don't have it. The owners provide a portable unit that you can put at the bedroom door at night and that sufficed for keeping the bedroom comfortable. During the day we had no need for a/c. We really grew to love the neighborhood and the condo.

This apartment, at the foot of Diamond Head, is in a perfect location to enjoy all that Waikiki offers and then some. If you enjoy the excitement, restaurants and activities of Waikiki you are just a short walk away. If you wish to enjoy a quiet meal out there are many choices along Monserrat Avenue which is a 5 minute walk. If You are planning a day at the beach it is only a 10 minute walk to a beautiful, safe beach. Plus everything you need to take with you is provided. We often carried the chairs down to the ocean to enjoy the evening sunset and to grab a quick snack at the Barefoot Beach Cafe. Grocery stores and other conveniences are just a short drive away. Located in a quiet neighbourhood this property provides a comfortable home away from home to return to. We often enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of activities and had a great evening with family and friends barbecuing and swimming. The apartment has everything you need to prepare meals if you wish to eat in. Michelle was wonderful making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lars kept the property around this complex clean and well cared for. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, well-stocked, tastefully decorated, excellent location. Just the spot for a month-long respite. We had originally reserved another condo but it was sold prior to our visit, and we are so happy that this property was offered as an alternate! The owner could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, also very quick to respond to any communication. A+ in every way - we are most grateful!

perfect home away from home.

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay on our vacation. It is roomy, clean, more supplies than expected. Michelle is lovely to deal with. It really was a home away from home and the scent of plumeria as you come and go - well we don't have that at home!!! We love being in a residential area rather than the craziness of Waikiki. The fireworkds the evening of the Hawaiian festival were spectacular and can be seen from dining area window. Getting around Oahu is so easy from here and stores and restaurants are close by. So happy we were able to stay here for the month of March. It made the not so perfect weather bearable.

This is such a warm and welcoming apartment! I love that all of the furnishings and decorations are from all over the world, and are of high quality materials. The bed and couch are both so comfy, and the flat screen TV's and WI-FI work great. The best swimming beach is close walking distance, Kapiolani park has so many activities, and Waikiki is also walking distance! I wake up to the birds singing in the plumeria trees:). I highly recommend this beautiful property to everyone looking for a feeling of Hawaiiana in Honolulu.

Best way to do Oahu - quiet residential neighborhood and a short walk to Waikiki strip

I congratulated myself for finding such a perfect place to stay every single day for two months. This was the best of everything. I had almost three months in Hawaii, and I was staying in hotels down on the strip and realized they were noisy, crowded, and not helping me relax. Though I wanted to be near all the great things to do, I needed somewhere where I could live a quieter more normal life. So when I took a chance on this place (my first vacation rental experience) and pulled into this amazing little neighborhood where this condo is, and heard nothing but birds singing, I was thrilled. And yet, I didn't miss out on anything Waikiki - I walked to Tiki's Bar & Grill for dinner, to the Moana Surfrider's Beach Bar, to the cute shop Sand People, to Rumfire for drinks, to the giant duty free store... you get the idea! And after I was done having fun I got to come back to my adorable Polynesian shabby chic quiet breezy apartment with a real fridge and a real stove and a big couch and no parking fees or hidden resort fees and more square feet than any hotel room I'll ever be able to afford. And the landlord clearly cares about this place and it feels like a real home. I loved every minute of being there.

Beautiful diamond head apartment

We were so happy with this beautiful apartment! It is completely turnkey, so we didn't have to buy anything except our food. The furnishings and Decour are also really top-notch. It was great to wake up with the birds singing in the plumaria trees in the morning. The beach is such a close walk, and so beautiful as well. We just took the bus if needed, but most everything was a short walking distance away. We had breakfast at Bogarts, lunch at Surf and Turf tacos, and enjoyed cooking dinner at the apartment most nights, as it is very well-equipped for cooking. The flat screen TVs, and then I Soundsystem are also A bonus with this beautiful rental. I don't want to say too many nice things about it, because we want to come back next year as well!

This is the best property I have ever stayed at in Waikiki! It is decorated so beautifully with antiques and upscale furnishings. The tropical tradewinds come through all day and night, so not need for an air conditioner, although there is one if needed. The full kitchen is fully stocked with all I needed to cook full gourmet meals for me and my daughter. It is great to have the washer/dryer in the apartment, and equally nice to have an assigned parking space, high-speed internet, and free local/mainland and Canada calling! I woke up to the birds singing in the big Plumeria trees located in the front and the lanai (balcony) areas. The scent of the flowers is intoxicating. We enjoyed the newly remodeled kitchen, bathroom, and the new carpet and large chaise couch, as well as the flat screen tv's in the living room and bedroom. It is so convenient to walk to San Souci beach, where the sand if soft and white, and the snorkeling is amazing! The bus is close by, and it is a great way to get around the island. Safeway is less than a mile away, and it is huge; they carry everything we needed. I highly recommend this oasis in Diamond Head, and will come again next year. Mahalo, Yoko I can't believe they don't charge more for this beautiful apartment!

Excellent location - close to: Waikiki shops, restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions; Park/Beach; Safeway; Starbucks; Walmart & Costco. Very quiet area. A/C really helped at night. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, silverware, dishes, cups & glasses. Ice maker was a blessing. Ample closet & dresser space with an abundance of hangers. Two sets of beach chairs and plenty of towels. Appreciated washer & dryer in unit. Missed having a lanai in the mornings.

Just got back from a wonderful month stay in this terrific spot. The thing that impressed the most was the overall care that the owner (Michelle ) has taken to include every type of gadget or device that you would need. This place has it all from a brita to an iron we did not have to worry about anything. The views of Waikiki at night and Diamond Head in the morning are spectacular. The walk to the beach across Kapi'olani park is about 7 Minutes. If you play tennis this is a dream since we were a 5 minute walk to a fabulous tennis facility. I would return in a heartbeat. Perfect Room

This was the first time that we rented a condo instead of a normal hotel room when we travel, and I must admit that I was a little skeptical at first. Is this condo as good and clean as the pictures or some old proto that perk up the place? I was surprised when I got there and was totally in love with the place. This condo is as clean and as good as the picture showed, and close to Waikiki strip mall. Michelle (the owner) is very nice, she stopped by and spent some time showing us around and telling us how/what/where things are in the condo, and even gave us a coupon book to save money on local restaurants and merchandise. We had a wonderful time in Honolulu, and I can not wait to come back again. I was depressed driving back to work the next morning in the Seattle’s rain and 50 F, what a miserable place to live!. If I could live there forever... OOPs, I need to concentrate on driving and stop dreaming……

What makes this property unique

It is fantastic to swim in the ocean with the colorful fish and turtles.
Today I saw a whale breach while I was on the beach, and this morning I woke up with the birds singing, and the fragrance of Plumeria flowers wafting through the open louvers of the bedroom.
This is a tropical quiet neighborhood that is very safe.
There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, two Farmer's Markets only a few blocks away, and Kapiolani Park has Festivals almost every weekend.
Rent Surf Boards on the Beach, go for a 1 1/2 hour sail on a Catamaran, Picnic in the Park...
The Waikiki Shell is 2 blocks away, and always has great Entertainment and Concerts.
On Friday nights you can see the fireworks at sunset from the dining room! Beautiful!!
The Bus line is only two blocks away, and is very convenient if you do not want to walk or drive.
