Georgetown Home

The house we stayed in was immaculate. The owner was great with her communication about the house and surrounding amenities. There was nothing that my wife and I would have changed.

About the host

Hosted by Colleen O'Connor

Host profile image
Hi, I’m Colleen! I moved to Georgetown in 2021 after raising my four children in Massachusetts. I quickly fell in love with the neighborhood’s historic charm, warmer weather, and the incredible opportunity to enjoy Washington’s monuments, museums, and vibrant waterfront year-round.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me walking my two dogs through Georgetown, playing pickleball or basketball in Rose Park with my adult children when they visit, or enjoying dinner along the Georgetown Waterfront or in Old Town Alexandria—often arriving by Water Taxi.

I open my home to guests for a limited time each May and only a few other times during the year and take great pride in making it a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I hope you’ll enjoy Georgetown as much as I do and create wonderful memories during your visit.

Why they chose this property

I love Georgetown’s East Village for its quiet, tree-lined streets just steps from the energy of M Street, the waterfront, and an easy walk to Washington’s iconic monuments.

What makes this property unique

Rose Park is literally across the street, providing beautiful green-space views and immediate access to walking paths, a seasonal Farmers Market, pickleball, tennis, basketball, and baseball. The home also features one of the few private residential elevators in Georgetown, serving every level except the third floor. The primary suite includes an accessible bathroom with a spacious zero-entry shower and grab bars, making the home especially comfortable for guests with mobility needs and multigenerational families.
