This was a magical place for my friends and me to stay! The view is excellent, the house was tidy with lots of available amenities, and the host was responsive. We had an overnight bear visitor and got some great pictures. The host's duck and chickens are clearly spoiled and happy, just like us!

Our stay here was a good little weekend getaway! The host was Extremely nice, Welcoming, & Helpful. The location was great — very peaceful & convenient for exploring the area. The cabin was clean & comfortable. There were a few small touches we came across that we thought could make it even better — like access to some extra games, pen & paper, or a few additional kitchen essentials like ziplock bags would’ve been nice to have on hand. But overall, it was a really pleasant & cozy stay! We appreciated the warm hospitality & farm fresh eggs a ton! They were delicious

The managers were extremely welcoming and even provided us with fresh eggs from the chickens on the premises upon our arrival. The house sleeps 7-8 people comfortably. We had a time shifted Thanksgiving dinner with some family that lives locally which was wonderful. However, they had to bring lots of pots and pans and small appliances to prepare the meal because the kitchen is not well equipped. We left suggestions for the owners so, hopefully, they add to the kitchen inventory. The view is spectacular and i would recommend this house but if you’re planning to cook I would confirm the inventory with the owners prior to renting.

This place is a little slice of heaven! Peacefully trucked into the hillside, you are very secluded from neighboring houses. The views off the decks are breathtaking! You are very close to the town of Conifer as well at Staunton State Park. Laurie is a great host, easy to communicate with. There is so much space for many guests, and the home and kitchen is well stocked. A few areas around the home are a tad tired looking, but the serenity far outweighs it all!

We had such a great girls’ weekend at this cozy cabin! Check-in was super easy and the owner was great with communication. The views are beautiful and the cabin is very comfortable and welcoming.Just a heads-up: only one water option can be used at a time (like the shower or sink), but it’s explained clearly in the welcome book and was easy to work with. The hot tub was amazing — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mountain view from the deck. If you’re arriving after dark, be mindful that the mountain road is winding and not lit, so plan ahead. Other than that, everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend this cabin for a fun and relaxing getaway.
