The place was nice and big enough for us. Nice televisions, but the only one that worked was the one in the living room. The stove only had two burners that somewhat worked and one of those would only operate on high. The grill is rusted out and had a trash bag full of wet soggy charcoal ash in the bottom of it. There are a couple of places in the house where the floor transitions up a few inches and it is hard to see because the lighting in the house is not the best, I tripped on it several times and I pulled something in my back, so I was down for a couple of days. Not that it is a big deal, but the cleaning crew showed up early (before check-out) and we was made to feel rushed because they came in before we was even done loading our vehicles. There was a fountain right by the front door that was holding stagnant water and a breading ground for mosquitoes, so every time you opened the door, they would swarm in. Lastly, the yard was not very well maintained, but in their defense, they had just had a ton of rain before our trip. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable trip, and the host was very kind.

Do not recommend unless owner decided to invest some time and money to clean it up!!!

Took us a while to get a response from the owner…yet he did try to get the electric on asap… House is very outdated , was not very clean, there where no real cooking utensils, games where all missing parts, and we where without power from 2-5:45pm it was very hot took a whole day to cool. Property was not maintenances at all grass over grown. The fridge kept shocking everyone after it started working finally. The stove top only had 2 working burners. The centipedes where horrible in the house killed at least 4. There was a lot of broken bricks and tiles in the ground few people fell a few times on the property cause of it. Pool table was missing a few balls. There are holes in doors some of the doors didn’t close and open properly. Owner really needs to take time out and work on the property before renting again.

We’re sorry to hear the home didn’t meet your expectations, but I’d like to clarify a few things. Our professional cleaning crew prepares the house thoroughly before each stay, and you were granted early check-in. The power outage was city-wide and out of our control, but it was resolved in under 2 hours. The home is a 2004 Mediterranean-style property, accurately shown in the listing photos. If the style wasn’t to your liking, it may not have been the right fit. The 5-acre lawn is mowed weekly, but your stay occurred during heavy regional rain that delayed service. The house has 5 fridges, which need time to cool after a power outage. The stove has 3 working burners; we will inspect the fourth. Pest control is maintained, but on a large rural property, occasional bugs may appear—especially if doors are left open. Tiles on the grounds can be damaged by guests driving heavy vehicles where they shouldn't. Doors not opening were for staff use only. Games and the pool table are checked before and after each stay; any missing or damaged items are reported to VRBO. We also provided a free early check-in and late checkout as a courtesy. We work hard to maintain and improve the home. If it didn’t suit your needs, we kindly ask you consider other options in the future.
