The West shore of Lake Almanor is waiting for you at this 2-bedroom house on the golf course. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, this beautiful golf course view property (with a peek of the lake!) offers a serene escape for guests. With a queen bed, two twin beds, and a cozy sofa (queen) bed in the living room, there's plenty of space for everyone to unwind. Situated on the golf course, enjoy the convenience of additional amenities such as the nearby boat launch, walking distance to rec area, and steps away from the clubhouse and pickleball/tennis courts. There is plenty of room for parking and trailer parking may be considered.
We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at this darling place.
Enjoy time on the front deck enjoying the lake breeze, or spread out on the back deck to enjoy watching the golfers, light up the BBQ, or play yard games such as cornhole!
The fully stocked kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, Keurig/coffee station, and a dining table that seats 8 for meals and board games. Two smart TVs are available to stream your favorite channels and wi-fi is provided via StarLink.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
No need to strip the beds--just leave them unmade and we will do the rest. Leave all used towels in the shower.
Failure to return key to boat launch will result in a $250 non-refundable charge. Just leave on the table, please!
There is a trash can located in the carport cabinet. Deposit your trash there--this protects garbage from curious and hungry animals!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Our family has been coming to Lake Almanor staying at various vacation rentals for over 10 years usually staying on the East Shore. This year we picked a winner with staying at this "Darling" home! The house was clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was quiet and offering many activities such as Golf, playground/picnic area, and the boat launch. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Almanor getaway

My family has been coming to the lake for 46 years and staying in Almanor West. This location was ideal: walking distance to everything we needed / wanted (rec center, boat launch, other family, golf course). It was clean, quiet, and well-appointed and -provisioned. The deck and patio provided plenty of space to read, relax, and enjoy time with family--and we had about 20 people, sometimes. The host communicated well and was most helpful.

This home has everything! We chose this VRBO for its location—I wanted to be surrounded by tall redwoods, and it was absolutely delivered. The home was the perfect size for us, cozy and comfortable. The backyard overlooks the golf course, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet at night.We cooked breakfast and dinner just like we were at home, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. The front deck was a favorite spot—inviting and relaxing, with a beautiful view of the lake.Judy, the hostess, was incredibly accommodating. She responded promptly to all my questions and made herself available whenever we needed anything.Truly a wonderful stay!

House was adorable and very well stocked. Had everything we needed. Judy was very responsive and quickly helped us when needed. This was our first time visiting Lake Almanor and we didn’t take into account the heat, it was 80’s-90’s during the day and although it cools off in the middle of the night, the house stayed 73-77. There were lots of fans provided by the hosts, which we appreciated! Loved the location, close to the park/beach and on the first hole of the golf course. We can’t wait to come back!!
