3 bedroom cabin w/hot tub

For a unique cabin rental book Jackie’s Gem for your next vacation. This octagon shaped cabin, made of stone and cedar, is completed with a wrap-around deck, wood rockers, outdoor dining area and an electric grill, all makings for a relaxing vacation. Sleeping up to 8 people, the cabin is furnished with two queen-sized beds, two twin beds and one sleeper sofa plus 2 baths. Hot tub on lower level outside porch. Discounted monthly rates are available.

The space
--No pets, No parties, and no smoking in this cabin.
--We are located 3.7 miles from the Biltmore Estate.
--Fireplaces are seasonal (mid Oct – mid May)
--Electric grill
--Well equipped kitchen to cook an entire meal.
--Hot tub on back deck
--12 Cup coffee maker (we supply filters) BRING COFFEE
--We have a fishing pond on the property (bring your own poles) We limit to keep fish to 5 fish per day per cabin. No fishing license needed.
--Mountain to Sea trail at the top of the property.
-- Do not tape, glue, or nail anything to the walls.

BEDROOM LAYOUT:
The queen-sized bedroom and twin bedroom is located downstairs on the lower level of the cabin with full bath.
The other queen sized bedroom with en suite bathroom is located on main level of the cabin.
The hot tub is located right outside the bedroom door on the back porch.

We had a great time at this property. Check in and check out were super easy. The grounds were beautiful and great for exploring, hot tub was the perfect temperature and ready to go when we arrived. The cabin was a great size for my family and conveniently located. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Recommend you add square footage to listing, this is small for 3 bedroom. Bathrooms are small and oddly shaped (cabin is circular). Dish washer makes motor noise and master bedroom mattress needs replacement- the sides are higher than the middle. In summer this has a lovely large deck but we happened to be there in winter.

Check in was easy. Cabin was super clean, fully stocked and had great ,almost panoramic views of the woods and hills behind it. Back patio was nice to hang out on and hot tub was relaxing and ready for soaking. Office hours sign was listed as being in every day but when we went over there on Sat and Sunday no one was there. We weren't sure where to put our trash, we had a big bag of kitchen trash and all we saw was a small silver bucket on the back patio but it was too small for our trash. Instructions said to put it in a covered container on the side of the house but we didn't see anything except an open recycling bin.We put some of the recycling in it but there was no lid. We ended up putting our trash in the trash container at the office outside. Community in general is clean but needs quite a bit of sprucing up, looks very different from the brochure and photos. Everything else was fine. Nice quiet community. Good location.
