We had a great stay! My husband family lives in the area so we came for Thanksgiving. We definitely will re book this place when we come back to visit again.
The house was very clean and fully equipped in the kitchen. The bathroom had everything that you would need and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing we missed was a TV, but we managed without it. I would highly recommend staying there, we will again for sure.
The desription was 3 bedrooms it only has one bedroom. A bedroom has a bed, door, and a closet there is only one in this facility. There is a loft but it is for small child a grown adult cannot get into this space. The sofa is not a sleeper sofa. The place was clean the outside can use some serious yard maintenance. The surrounding area is not ideal for a single mother.
The listing is advertised showing a fenced in "backyard", however it was only enclosed on 3 sides which was difficult as it was advertised as pet friendly. I had to purchase a cable to keep our dog safe outside. The primary bedroom had a king bed with only a fitted sheet and a rough comforter. No top sheet or pillow cases. The couch was shown as a bed option, but again, no sheets. The "loft" should not be advertised as a sleeping option at all. It is nearly impossible to enter as you need to be a child or a contortionist to get up there. The distance from the mattress to the ceiling is less then 6 inches which seems like a definite fire hazard. No information for the internet and the owner could not be reached. This should not be listed as a luxurious cottage. In all my years of renting with VRBO, this is the only time I have been disappointed. It was definitely not worth the money.

Hi Angel, sorry to hear about your disappointment, the closet is stacked with blankets and pillows, and you have not sent a single message during your stay, all WiFi details are on the arrival guide, if you expected a fully enclosed backyard to let your dog run around you could have sent us a message in advance asking if that’s something we offer

Ok for an evening
We stay in a lot of vrbo’s, it’s our preferred way to travel. This space was cute and decorated well. It also appeared to be well appointed in the both the kitchen and bathroom. You can tell a lot of work and effort went into converting it from a shed to a sleeping space. Having said that, the loft wasn’t really usable. My husband and I were taking my son to summer camp and thought it would be fun for him to use that area, but there’s so little space up top (maybe about 18”or so). We were expecting it to be more like 4 feet - crouching space - but this wasn’t it. The ladder to get up was a nice touch but even my son wasn’t comfortable with the idea of trying to climb out from the top back down; it was all so limited in space and he’s tall for a 13 year old. He ended up sleeping on the couch, but it’s modular, so as he moved, it would come apart. There were also a lot of bugs - gnats that we finally figured out were coming from the ac unit once we turned it on, and when I turned on the light in the bathroom bugs scurried from the floor to under the baseboards. The space was ok for the evening, but not anything I’d rent again.
