I'm a Chicago native where I work as an independent jewelry designer and also re-seller of vintage collectibles, housewares, books and oddities. I also volunteer as a wolf ambassador.

Why they chose this property

The property was the garden for the farmhouse to the north. One visit and I was sold. There are many plantings that are over 60 years old. The former owner/artist/gardener constructed a stone wall on the property with stones he gathered by hand all over Michigan. The home was built in 2011 and won the Saugatuck Historical Society's Preservation Award for New Construction. It is a huge honor to receive this recognition.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful view of historic gothic church across the street. Lower and upper porches for hanging out. Fire pit for gathering around for nightly relaxing and conversation. 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms are en-suite and staggered on each level to optimize privacy.
