House On The 16th Fairway For Golfers, Anglers, And Hunters

Our family vacation home was purchased in 2004 and completely rebuilt. This 2400 square foot house has beautiful hardwood floors and modern amenities. Three bedrooms, including two with king beds and one with two full beds, comfortably sleep 8 people. With a living room with a beautiful stone fireplace, and a separate large game room that boasts a pool table, foosball, and a wet bar, there is always some place to hang out and get away from it all. Enjoy the extensive book, movie and game collection, much of which will satisfy children and adults alike.

We loved staying at the house. The layout was great and the amenities were perfect for our group. The location was also fantastic for our group. Across from the clubhouse to golf and close enough to Fall river to fish. Thank you for the great stay.

Best angler/golfer/hunter/family vacation house ever

Stayed in this place to be near my parents. The house is amazing and very accommodating. It’s a 2 minute walk from the golf clubs house and the view cannot be beat. Our toddler stayed with us and loved the house. My wife and I were very pleased with house child friendly the house was. Thank you so much!

Family and Golf

My brother, our cousin, and I plus our spouses all stayed three nights. Our youngest brother lives in McArthur. We all played several rounds of golf, and we were so happy about the proximity to the club house. In addition, the house was perfect for meals and games, lots of room with an open concept.

1st stay here

The AC can't go below 75. Spent 1st night hot, second night opened up the house to be comfortable and then the heater came on. The windows were really hard to open and dirty. Bathroom was dusty and lots of dust bunnies under the bed. Which you can see. (I wasn't looking under the bed.) Used the oven and when you open it you can see dust all around the frame opening. This is a really pretty home and for the cost I had much higher expectations for cleanliness. The master bed was very comfortable! But could have used better curtains it complete daylight at 6 am.

I reviewed this house about 6 years ago and have stayed basically annually since then. I was in Fall River Mills for an annual golf weekend with a large group and the house's location on the 16th fairway is perfect. We are able to park at the house for the long weekend and not have to drive again. The house is immaculately maintained, is unbelievably well stocked with everything you'd possibly want or need to cook great meals. It is comfortable and unfailingly immaculate. The linens are excellent. Amy is incredibly responsive and thoughtful. I really struggle to come up with any areas that could use improvement. If you have reason to be in the area, even if not playing golf, I don't think there are any comparable options as of this writing.

Golf/Fishing Trip in the Perfect Location

It hit a grand slam for us! My father, who is 90, along with my god-father (also 90) wanted to do one last trip up to the area for the opening of trout season. The younger ones (23-70) also wanted to golf. Have rented this place before from Amy, and again, it did not disappoint! Being on the great Fall River Golf Course is perfect... you can walk across the fairway to the clubhouse. Great fishing in the area. Perfect! And I must also point out that Amy got back with me immediately when I had early questions about the booking or amentities.

Perfect!

Everything about the home met or exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was large and well stocked for making our Thanksgiving dinner and the seating was perfect for our group. Comfy beds, lovely linens, and lots of towels. Loved the huge deck overlooking the golf course too!

My husband and I live in the heart of wine country in beautiful Sonoma County, and enjoy traveling often to the Fall River area. We bring our five children, and often friends as well!

Why they chose this property

Because of our family's love of the outdoors, we purchased this home and completely remodeled it in 2004. Being that the area provides some of the best fishing and hunting in the state it was a natural choice. We are also avid golfers and really enjoy the proximity to the golf course.

What makes this property unique

This property was chosen for it's location. A short walk across the fairway to the country club to golf, a short drive to fly fishing and hunting, or a short walk into town. With snow in the winter and surrounded by National Forests, it is the perfect location for winter fun and christmas tree hunting!
