This house is NOT ready to be rented. We arrived to find several massive Amazon boxes blocking the stairs inside the home. We didn’t order them, yet the property manager told us to “just move them.” A 4-inch wooden splinter was hanging off the outdoor stairs, which could have seriously injured someone. Within hours of being there, the sliding glass door handle fell off and injured my foot. It wasn’t fixed until day SIX of our stay. Total lack of cleanliness. There were dead roaches and large water bugs throughout the home. The floors were so dirty our bare feet were black. Every dish and pan was either crusted with grime or covered in stains, the dishwasher was stained with mold & the garbage disposal didn’t work. The entire house felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and smelled of mildew. The refrigerator never got cold, even after multiple reports to the manager. It stayed stuck at level 1 out of 9, ruining groceries. The ice maker didn’t work either so we were on the beach, on a limited island, with no cold drinks. There was also no propane for the grill, which was supposed to be included. When we asked, they told us to go to another property to get a tank ourselves. This property lacked many basic amenities. The washing machine was also broken. Yet you are expected to wash the towels before you leave. You’re responsible for the cleaning, but cant even do it properly because the appliances dont work. One of the bedroom doors doesnt close. Many better options on NCI.
