Two bedroom condo, over 1,000 square feet with a queen bed in the master bedroom and queen size bed in the second bedroom. A sofa bed in the living room, two full bathrooms and products supplied from the famous Salt Spring Soap Works. Full kitchens well equipped and complete with stainless steel appliances. There is a gas fireplace and TV in the living room.
The main bedroom has a tv and an ensuite bathroom with a large soaker tub. The rooms all come with linens and towels in the bathroom.
The unit has a beautiful patio with ocean views, a BBQ and outdoor seating.
Beautifully appointed. A short 5 minute walk from your condo at Mariner's Loft brings you to the heart of Ganges, steps away from the boutique shops. Due to the close proximity to town we do have a main road down the hill from our property.
Ganges is a quaint village known for its Saturday and Tuesday seasonal markets, galleries and shops with local flair. There are several restaurants within walking distance with a few offering live music (call ahead!), grocery stores, organic grocers, bakeries, delis and liquor stores for those wanting to prepare meals at home.
Mariner's Loft is ideally situated in the village and across from the harbour offering beautiful views and easy walking to just about all.

The condo was just as advertised but even more beautiful. It was sparkling clean and the view from the living area and balcony was delightful.I highly recommend this condo to future visitors.

Our stay was very good. The beds were comfortable, as was the foldout couch. The location was close to town. Our only issue was the street noise. this may have been worse due to construction in town.

I have stayed at the Mariner's Loft before in 2019.It's a nice property on the hill with a great view of the water and marina. The beds were comfortable and the condo is clean and roomy.
Excellent. Both table lamps in second bedroom were wonky. Otherwise perfect.

A clean comfortable suite in a perfect location. All amenities are walking distance and the gated entrance increase the safety of the property. I would certainly stay again, but it is a little pricey. Otherwise no complaints!

Mariner's Loft
A wonderful two weeks in paradise. A short walk to a wonderful small town by the ocean in the Gulf Islands. Full of adventures to the beach, farms, pubs and mountain top. Best of all sitting on the deck watching the ships and floatplanes come and go!
The unit was nicely appointed with a view of the marina. Comfortable king bed & fantastic on suite in master. Minutes to town by foot & delicious fish & chips across the street. We made tacos in the well equipped kitchen & enjoyed them on the lovely patio. The living room was comfortable and a nice place to put your feet up at the end of the day. Our friend loved the second bedroom & bathroom. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

A weekend getaway for my partner and I in Salt Spring and this was perfect for staying in Ganges.
While weekend traffic isn't quiet, with the windows closed it's barely noticeable and the harbour view is beautiful. The living area is east facing with a great sunrise view and a comfortable reading/tv/eating area.
Main bedroom is very well done, comfortable, and quiet. Ensuite was great except for the broken drain stopper in the tub.
Other reviews have mentioned: bring your own tissue box plus, if you're cooking, kitchen shears or just a decent pair of scissors.
We were in Ganges in pretty much perfect spring weather so it was never too hot or cold - suite had lots of heating and openable windows.

One night stay for a party. 5 in our party
The check time of 4:00 is too late and the check out time of 10:30 is too early. Most hotels check in at 2:30 or 3:00 and check out is 11:00. Check in codes were promised in the morning and weren’t given until close to check in time which made me wonder if I had been scamming for 859.00 a night. No duvet in 2nd bed as promised and one slim pillow for pullout. A box of Kleenex would have been appreciated and the coffee was terrible. Beautiful view and beds were comfy. Lovely decor and easy parking with lot out front for one car. Walls seem thin as the dripping coffee pot woke me.
Beautiful accommodation. We loved the location steps to shops and restaurants, and beautiful view. The property doesn’t have AC which would normally not be missed with the breeze off the water, but we were there during an unusually hot spell of 30+ degrees. With the windows open and fans blowing sleeping was comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again.

I built this property because I wanted a retreat from my busy life on Vancouver Island. The property I chose for Mariner's Loft is the only property with hotel zoning in the town of Ganges, and the views to Ganges Harbour and the Gulf Islands are second to none. I detailed and furnished the unit as I would my own home, and created a large outdoor deck off the unit to enjoy a dinner party, a barbecue, or just a coffee in the morning overlooking the Marina and the Seaplanes taking off and landing in the distance. I find it so relaxing to be in my beautiful creation that I wanted to share it with others looking for a relaxing respite from their busy lives. It is perfect for longer term stays in the winter, for Snow Birds to enjoy our benign maritime climate, or for weekenders or weekly stays in the Summer for people looking for a well deserved break from busy live
