Nice place to spend a few days but the beds were a bit hard and there were some maintenance issues ( the staff took care of them) fairly quickly. Units are close to each other and there is no AC so had to have the windows open. Some neighbors were noisy returning from the evening away, having conversations below bedroom window until 11 pm.For the price we didn't expect to have to dispose of our own garbage and recycle at the end of our stay.Unit was well equipped with dishes etc, close to amenities.

Everything was excellent from our initial booking, communication, check in and above all, Mermaid Cottage itself! The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking essentials, including coffee and spices. Comfy beds and a cozy atmosphere for relaxing, truly made our stay very enjoyable! We would book Mermaid Cottage again in a heartbeat! It was a Christmas to remember!

Host was easy and efficient to communicate with. Was accommodating to our requests. Had requested extra toilet paper as there was just 2 extra roll amongst 8 people for 4 days. Had dropped them off quickly which was much appreciated.Cleanliness was a bit disappointing. Some of the dishware still had some residue/food stuck on it. The upstairs bedding had a musty smell to them. Towels had some staining on them. Other than that, space was awesome for our little friends gathering.
