The location was wonderful and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and gorgeous! Our family of 5, including 3 young men in their 20's, all were able to sleep comfortably and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

We were in town for our annual golf vacation. This location is central to several golf courses, plenty of hiking trails, the lake and of course GunStock Mtn. The house was nicely updated and our host Charrissa kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place and we will most definitely stay there again.

Great Time at the Gunstock Shanty

Had a great time in Gilford and specifically at the Gunstock Shanty. It’s a great house in an excellent location and the host was perfect to work with. Nice attention to detail throughout the house. Would definitely recommend.

Very responsive host, who clearly takes pride in their property! Beautiful details everywhere to create a ski lodge atmosphere and cozy comfort. The upstairs and downstairs fireplaces have surprisingly comfortable seating areas right near them. I’m amazed at how much they were able to pack into a small space without it feeling cramped at all! It was a very well-thought-out design. We are already planning our next return!

We loved The Shanty - Gunstock!! Spacious yet cozy and beautiful - just as described! Accommodations were perfect, everything we needed and so close to ski at Gunstock! Wonderful family time, a lot of awesome memories made with our Son & 2 Granddaughters! Two feet of Snow and sub zero temps added to it all!Our host, Charrissa, was terrific! Welcoming, friendly, helpful and communication was all outstanding! Definitely 5 Stars from us and Highly recommended! We plan on returning!
