Beautiful property, beautiful surroundings, far enough away from town for a quiet country getaway but still close enough to get supplies or enjoy restaurants. The hosts were very quick with replying and communicated well. We’re very happy with our stay and plan on coming back next year.

Whilst we enjoyed our girls weekend & the beautiful surrounding scenery, our stay at this property didn’t quite meet expectations.Unfortunately the property is actually a 3-bedroom home, with the 4th bedroom being an unfinished studio separate from the main house. This meant we were split up, which was not our aim when booking. The studio had a bathroom with no door, no water pressure with a shower window to outside, no privacy. Access to Bed 3 is only through Bed 2, which isn’t suitable for groups of friends or couples.There are no mirrors in the home other than in the bathrooms, no bench space. This made it difficult for several guests to get ready at once. The bathrooms also lack shower screens, water goes everywhere, one of the older bathrooms doesn’t drain properly.No floor mats hand towels or dish cloths were provided only a single scourer for the kitchen.The host was pleasant in communication before our stay; however, during the weekend she contacted me after seeing multiple cars on the CAMERAS, concerned that we were hosting an event. I reassured her that, as previously discussed, there were 7 we each arrived separately from different parts of SA. After check-out,I was contacted again regarding supposedly missing towels,which were after found. This raised concerns about the quality of the cleaning service. Overall, while the setting was lovely and the host responsive, the property listing itself needs attention to accurately reflect property amenities.
