About this property
Olympic Forager House + Cabin on tranquil Sequim Bay with hot tub & kayaks
This magical main house + cabin on Sequim Bay offers a delightful place for your next Pacific Northwest vacation. Explore Olympic National Park's diverse landscape for endless adventures!
Or just enjoy the stunning water view as you relax in the hot tub after gathering shells on the beach or kayaking in the Sequim Bay. Make S'more out of the indoor fireplace or outdoor Solo Stove. Sequim Bay State Park is right next to the property, which is perfect for a short walk.
There are two structures on the 2-acre land. The main house has 2b2.5b with spacious living and dinning space for gathering. The cabin has 1b1.5b with an office, perfect for some privacy from the large group. Each one has great reviews in their own listing that you can find under my profile. This listing shows the dates when both houses are available.
The main house has one bedroom downstairs equipped with a queen size bed and a twin bed and a loft upstairs with a king size bed. There are one full bath downstairs, one full bath at the loft level and one half bath on lower level.
Spacious living and dining space can easily accommodate your group spending quality time together.
The kitchen is fully stocked and gas oven and range allow you to cook with ease. Make your morning coffee from the breakfast nook with either a French press or Chemex.
On the spacious deck facing the water you will find the outdoor dinning set, lounge area with a solo stove (from May - Oct), a hammock, a Traeger grill , space for yoga/meditation and a 6-person hot tub! Picnic on the lawn or enjoy the fireside chat with family and friends while enjoying the setting sun casting glow over the Bay.
The cabin also has great views towards the bay and the forest. Enjoy some quiet time with reading on the deck or working from the office. There is one queen bed in the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that we just enlarged & renovated!
Water is accessed by going down the stairs. Take the kayaks/paddles boards down the stairs to launch straight from the private water front of the house and soak in the serenity of Sequim Bay. There is two standup paddles, two single sit-in kayaks and one sit-on-top double kayak along with crabbing tools for you to use!

About the host
Hosted by Michael
We moved from the California Bay Area to here in 2022 for the unmatched natural beauty of the Olympics. We both work in tech and are fortunate to be able to work remotely. We usually live in the cottage next door but when we are traveling for months, we will rent both houses. We are still a message away if you have any questions!
