We loved the cabin. My 7 year old stayed in the pool for the whole 3 days. Very clean, quiet, and very cozy. I had great communication with Ben before and during our trip. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

The cabin and mountain views from the balcony were beautiful. We had a very nice stay and the host was quick to respond to any messages we sent. We also got to see a black bear while on the balcony. Would recommend!

Great stay!

This property (cabin) was isolated and peaceful. It was quiet and located just 20-30 minutes from Pigeon Forge. When we arrived we were very impressed with how clean and well stocked the cabin was and the various games and activities to keep the kids occupied. The host communicated with me to see how things were going and if we needed anything. The kids were excited to see their first live bear outside our cabin less than an hour after checking in. Great experience, especially since this was my first time using Vrbo.

Great place to stay

We chose this cabin for our family's summer vacation. The location is great. It's private and out of the way, but also not far from all of things you would like to do in the area. There is also access to the clubhouse and swimming pool which was a great way to relax. There are bears in the area, and we had porch visitors twice. But, again, this is bear country so it wasn't completely unexpected. There was nothing outside for them to get into, so they left pretty quick. Cell signal is very spotty once you get into the Shagbark community/resort area, so ensure that you have all of your check-in instructions saved to your phone prior to arrival. Ask me how I know this....lolCommunication with the host was always quick and productive. The property is immaculate and reflected perfectly in the listing and pictures.

Shagbark offers everything nature has to offer with regular bear sightings! It also is gated and has a community pool, tennis / pickleball courts and a disc golf course. You can open the front door and take a hike and the sunsets and views of the mountains are as peaceful as it gets!

This property is situated on the side of a hill and located away from neighbors so it's a great place to take in nature and the serenity the Smokies have to offer
