A beautiful, spacious house in an ideal location.

We had a wonderful week staying at this fantastic property. We chose it because we wanted plenty of space for four adults and three teenagers and it was easily big enough for the seven of us, offering very comfortable bedrooms and a good choice of places to sit, relax & socialise. The outside decked area was particularly wonderful in the evenings, with plenty of seating and a lovely hot tub to relax in. The kitchen was really well equipped and the laundry facilities like a home from home. The house was ideally located at the end of a quiet road, but within easy walking distance of the lake and the locks on the Göta Canal, as well as facilities like a grocery store. We all enjoyed the lovely woodland walk down to the lake and were fascinated to watch a variety of boats coming down the series of locks on the canal, within a few minutes’ walking distance of the house. We had a lovely meal at the Kanalkrogen restaurant at the top of the locks and enjoyed ice creams and mini golf outside the youth hostel, where my aunt was delighted to find how easy it was hire a bike for a day’s exploring. On the last evening we booked an evening cruise around Lake Roxen with buffet and music on board, which was great fun. I would thoroughly recommend this house as a great place to stay with family and friends and experience a lovely part of Sweden.

prachtige woning, gelegen aan een meer met strand in een rustig dorp in de buurt van Linköping

We hadden met onze kinderen een prachtvakantie in Zweden. Ons "huis voor één week" bood plaats aan 7 personen + 2 personen in een aparte kamer in de tuin, dicht bij het huis. Alhoewel Joachim en Carolina niet aanwezig konden zijn toen we aankwamen, hebben ze ons telefonisch perfect begeleid en mochten we tijdens de vakantie hen steeds contacteren. Ze hielpen ons steeds vriendelijk verder. Het huis is modern ingericht met al het nodige comfort. Zeer grote goed uitgeruste keuken met microgolfoven, oven, wijnkoeler, kookplaat en meer dan voldoende keukengerief, borden, bestek, glazen .... voor 8 volwassenen. In de ijskast en frigo staan etenswaren van de eigenaars, maar er is voldoende plaats gemaakt om ijskast en frigo te gebruiken tijdens het verlof en is dus ook geen probleem. We konden beschikken over 2 nette badkamers, waarvan één badkamer met een bubbelbad. Buiten zijn er twee terrassen zodat we altijd ergens in de schaduw buiten konden eten. Op het grote terras achteraan staan hele mooie loungezetels, twee ligbedden en een jacuzzi. Het huisje ligt op 5 minuten wandelen van een prachtig rustig zandstrand aan het Roxenmeer en het Gotha-kanaal. In de buurt zijn verschillende natuurgebieden (natuurgebied Agelsjon even boven Nörköpping) waar je mooie wandelingen kan maken en een sprong in het meer kan wagen vanaf de rotsen. Linköping ligt op 10 minuten rijden met de auto en is zeker een bezoekje waard. In Norholm (een half uurtje met de auto) kan je kano-tochten maken op het Kinda-kanaal. Op het Gotha-kanaal en Kinda-kanaal kan je mooie boottochten maken (overdag of avondtochten). De avondtochten kan je boeken met een etentje aan boord.) Ook Stockholm is bereikbaar (2 uur rijden) en zeker een bezoekje waard. Dank je wel aan Joakim & Carolina, wij genoten ervan om in jullie huis te verblijven. Jullie land en natuur zijn wondermooi ! Zweden ....... wij komen zeker terug.
