Hello! Send a request & tell us a little about yourself & where you’re coming from! We’d love to have you stay in our 1 year old cabin built for our children & grandchildren Located in Byrdstown. Nestled at the end of a 1.2 mile long gravel road, in a serene setting, this cozy retreat offers guests a tranquil escape. With a comfortable bedroom, modern amenities like WiFi and AC, and a peaceful atmosphere, your stay here will be truly enjoyable. A 5 minute walk down a wooded trail will take you to a gorgeous overlook of the lake.
Less than 30 minutes from Sunset Marina, Star point Marina & Cove creek campground with ramp. BOAT PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT CABIN. Primitive boat slip at Franklin Creek (kayaks, and small boats) less than 1 mile away. Loads of on property private hiking trails and beautiful views overlooking Dale Hollow Lake, Obey river. No other rentals on property. Very Remote & secluded. Full kitchen with dishes, silverware, coffee, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and range. Linens and 2 towels with washcloths provided. Some firewood provided for the outdoor fireplace. 2 person Maximum. No Visitors. No Parties. No Exceptions. NO PETS Unauthorized pets will result in $250 cleaning FEE and immediate revocation of reservation with absolutely no refund.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Stay within the marked area on the provided map. Do not burn anywhere except provided fire pits. Do not burn in windy conditions.
Please Load dishwasher, no need to start it. Leave linens on the bed. Leave towels hanging
Please keep the gate in the gravel road closed after dark if you need to come and go. Thank you. It can remain open during daylight hours.

Secluded Getaway

Perfect place to get away from everyday life. We enjoyed hanging at the lake overlook in hammocks while the sun set in the distance. We came to the area to hike and explore the surrounding area and were happy to be within an hour of lots or cool sights!

This is the place to book if you want reconnect with nature. The location is very private and you are truly surrounded by the woods. I enjoyed the drive to the cabin, as it was a nice way to transition my days with beautiful scenic views. The cabin itself is very clean, modern, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Loved the fire pit and listening to the owls at night – such a special place to get away.

I took a two night getaway to the lake, will definitely be back. There's a nearby boat ramp for kayaks and small boats, a beautiful spot on the bluff, and Dale Hollow Lake is one of the best in TN. A
