Because of its good connections and closeness to the road it can also be a great starting point for trips and sightseeing.

The nearby towns Most na Soči, Tolmin, Kobarid and Cerkno offer numerous adventures for all who enjoy adrenaline and water sports, natural beauty, history and culinary. On the Šentviška plateau there are some amazing biking trails leading you between farms forests and meadows with he view of the Alps. A bit more than half an hour train ride will take you to the famous Alpine towns, Bohinj and Bled.
