Worst stay ever in Benin! We booked 11 nights. My friend who was traveling with me was so fed up that she checked out after two nights. I tried to be patient and ended up checking out after four nights. From the electricity constantly getting cut off, to not having water to shower, to roaches, to wifi not being available when we arrived, we received a host of excuses. The excuses ranged from "the wifi wasn't ready because some guests reserve and don't show up" even though I was in communication with the owner while on the plane to Benin, coordinating arrival time, or "We have never had these electricity issues before!", or even "This is Africa. If you wanted a better apartment you should have stayed in Fidjrossè". I do not recommend.
