Paying for resort fees when nothing was open, dirty hallways, absolutely horrid breakfast that should have been 3.99 at most, 3 out of 7 urinals in men’s room at casino working other 4 out of order, elevators, most not working, that you had to wait upwards to 10 minutes for and decibels for game on big screen topping 100 on the db meter.
I was talked into an upgraded to the newest renovated tower at check-in, and overall the location was convenient, with a short walk to the casino entrance. The room was clean, functional, and nicely updated, and the bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the hotel amenities, especially the pool and the affordable dining options on-site.Unfortunately, two maintenance issues impacted my stay. The refrigerator was broken upon arrival and took over eight hours—and three follow-up calls—to replace. Since I had medication that needed refrigeration, I had to keep it on ice and monitor it until the new refrigerator arrived.More significantly, the air conditioning was not cooling properly. The room stayed above 76 degrees from the time the sun came up and only became tolerable after sunset, despite keeping the blinds closed to reduce heat. Maintenance attempted a repair, but it made little difference. Even the 9th-floor hallway was unusually warm, which told me there were larger HVAC issues affecting that area.My biggest disappointment was not being able to switch rooms when the AC issue persisted. I was told room changes were not being accommodated at the time, which was frustrating. Aside from these issues, the hotel and room were pleasant, but the temperature problems made the stay less comfortable than expected.
