The host sent me a message on Feb.7 saying that we couldn’t stay at her property that we booked for Feb.14. She told me I needed to request a cancellation to get my money back!! It was past the time I was allowed to do that. I was on a cruise and didn’t get the message until I got back to Mobile on Feb.14. Everything was booked because of Mardi Gras. We had to drive 4 hours back home because we couldn’t find another place to stay. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The space was clean and calm. The furniture was comfortable and our host Mary, was kind and very accommodating with plenty of recommendations! The water got nice and hot for a relaxing shower and the windows let in so much wonderful natural light.You definitely won’t feel hot or stuffy with three a/c vents, one directly over the bed and a fan that could be turned to *very* high settings.Some notes:There is a weird little door leading to a hallway and staircase that we weren’t prepared to see with a light we couldn’t turn off. So if you’re used to sleeping in pitch black, just take note. Our assumption was that it leads to the front door? Also it is close to the train tracks, but we didn’t mind.The water line wasn’t connected in the refrigerator so there no ice and we did hear some conversation from below us pretty clearly, but again, it didn’t bother us.Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and we had no complaints!
