Weekend getaway for besties birthday

We wanted to relax and chill in a pool with friends and family's. It was great. The propwrty was great the host was easy to communicate with. It was al and all a fabulous weekend

My wife and I needed a kids free weekend and this was the perfect house. Close proximity to the Plaza District, Uptown restaurants, and Downtown OKC entertainment. The house is exactly as described. It would be the perfect house for any type of weekend from a couples retreat or a small wedding party. The owners are very quick to respond and extremely friendly. It is affordable and extremely comfortable. I would rate this house 15/10 if I could.

5th Birthday Party

The host was spectacular and really easy to get in touch with! They were so kind and thoughtful for our son’s 5th birthday party & even hung a banner for him that said happy birthday. They were super accommodating with our party & made sure we had everything we needed! Great DoorDash options close by which made the experience all the better since we were busy decorating for our son’s party! It was the PERFECT venue for a birthday party the arcade games were a hit and plenty room and activity with pool & sunroom to accommodate all ages! We’re in our 40’s and the Galaga, PacMan, and Street Fighter II games were priceless. Even my 5 year old loved it. Truly a place for all ages! Worth every penny for the memories we have!

Review

We stayed at this Airbnb for several days, and it was clear that the hosts put a lot of love and effort into the property. The home itself has a fascinating history, and the décor added a unique and memorable touch to our stay. It was well-stocked with fun board games, plenty of streaming services on the TV, and the private pool outside was definitely a highlight. The hosts also provided pool towels and floats, which we really appreciated. That said, there were a few things that fell short. During the day, we noticed quite a few cobwebs in the bathroom, which made it feel like it hadn’t been cleaned recently or possibly hadn’t been used in a while. The large bathtub, while beautiful, was extremely slippery to get out of and lacked any safety railing. One of our biggest disappointments was the listing’s mention of a hot tub, which was actually a “conversation pool” with no heat. The hot tub was a major reason we chose this property, and had we known it wasn’t available, we likely would have booked elsewhere. The location was conveniently close to downtown, which was a plus. However, the neighboring house had a VERY strong odor of cat urine, and the outdoor trashcan was full of maggots-both of which were hard to overlook. Despite these issues, the host was incredibly sweet, responsive, and accommodating. They provided plenty of thoughtful amenities, and we could tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. I just want to give a full and honest picture of our stay.

We chose this neighborhood because it’s in the heart of downtown OKC, which is experiencing exciting/massive growth. Being surrounded by new businesses, restaurants, and entertainment options adds both convenience and energy to everyday life. It’s a vibrant area with everything we need within walking distance, and I love being part of a community that’s clearly on the rise!

What makes this property unique

Step into a one-of-a-kind 1929 Modern Art Deco home full of character and comfort. This home features original hardwood floors that are worn with age but still in great condition, adding warmth and character to each room. The house includes three bedrooms: a spacious primary bedroom, a comfortable guest bedroom, and a third room that was originally an office and now functions as a bright sunroom—perfect for relaxing or as an additional sleeping space.

Although there is one bathroom, prepare to be amazed by the oversized uniqueness of the space extremely versatile with "get ready with me" stations to a double shower head. This stunning space is a celebration of 1920s Art Deco luxury, featuring bold black, white and gold tones that create a rich Great Gatsby atmosphere.

The living spaces are furnished with brand-new furniture, blending modern comfort with the home’s historic charm. The layout offers a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area ideal for gathering.

Outside, the backyard offers a true retreat with a private pool featuring a sun shelf for lounging. There’s also space to unwind or play, including outdoor games like cornhole. Every room and space in the house has been thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, character, and a welcoming atmosphere.
