Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, this location offers easy access to a diverse range of shops, bars, and restaurants. The private rooftop area provides breathtaking views of the city and Acropolis Hill. The host was incredibly communicative, answering all our questions and offering valuable recommendations. It was an exceptional stay for my family of six, and I highly recommend it.

The location for this rental was outstanding. We loved our little neighborhood and it was so central that everything was very walkable. You’d better like stairs, and if you do the rooftop patio will be your favorite spot in the evenings or early morning. I loved hearing the church bells each morning!The host was kind enough to help arrange airport transport as well as port transport for us when we arrived and left, so helpful!

Location is superb! It was in a very safe part of town. Within walking distance of most historic sights. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Beautiful view from rooftop. Photos show stairs. You must be able to handle steps and maneuver your suitcases on the stairs. Host accommodated early check in and made our transportation arrangements. Would like to see a mattress upgrade. Washer/dryer worked wonderfully. I highly recommend this property!

Couldn’t ask for a cleaner property, with so much size & perfect location! The layout is really cool over several levels. Plenty of room for our family of 5, and we could’ve even fit one more couple in the unit just fine. The laundry worked well, helped us save from packing too much. Very good communication too

A fun, clean place in the heart of it all

The property is right in the heart of Plaka with excellent restaurants, cafes, and shopping in close proximity. The views of the Acropolis with the Byzantine church of St Nicholas next door are stunning.

Amazing location

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by shopping and restaurants just steps away. Our place had an awesome rooftop patio with an amazing view of the Acropolis.

I loved this property. The location could not be better. Plaka has so many fun shops and restaurants. The views from the rooftop terrace are fantastic (pics are from the terrace). The acropolis is visible from the terrace (behind the church). The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Highly recommend!

This is a very good property in the perfect location with an outstanding host. You simply cannot get a better location to visit the historic ( and happening!) area of Athens. The host is extremely accomodating and communicates very quickly and accurately. You cannot go wrong staying here. I very highly recommend!

This place was perfect!

Spiros was great and very helpful. The rooftop deck was a huge bonus. (There is nothing like looking down at your friends drinking their morning coffee from the Acopolis). The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. I highly recommend.

Fantastic stay

I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the really cool and lively area of Athens. Acropolis and Agora are both less than 10 min away, and lots of restaurants and shopping are right outside of the property, but the place is very quiet and we had a great night's sleep. AC worked well. House is spacious and nicely appointed, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Super clean as well. Overall amazing stay.

Perfect

This was amazing place to get to know Athens. The location cannot be beat—minutes to the acropolis, markets, and restaurants. The space was perfect for our group of five but could easily hold more. Our favorite part of the place was the rooftop terrace—where we would eat our breakfast and happy hours with the beautiful church and the acropolis in full panoramic view. Sports was a wonderful guest and always had quick replies to our questions and request. We strongly recommend this place to everyone!

The best all around

OMG. Spyros, the host and this location were the best. The location cannot be beat. It's close to walking everywhere. The vrbo is exactly as portrayed. Lots of room. The rooftop patio, sitting behind the Acropolis was magical. Spyros will help you with car pick up and airport transfers. So happy the beginning of our trip started here..beginning of our trip started here.

Family Time in Greece

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us. The only 2 things is that we could not really cool off the living area, was very warm and we had multiple incidents with cockroaches in the basement. We informed the owner and he said he would take care of it, and I just wanted to share with others as FYI. Otherwise, everything is great and loved the location.

Wow! Perfect site for visiting

This was an amazing place with 2 main floors and a rooftop area for people watching because this is in the heart of everything! We were able to walk to amazing foods and gelato places. Shopping around the corner. Walking distance for the young and the old to the the acropolis. The three bathrooms were coordinated to the three bedrooms. Modern look to the place with lots of stairs. Two separate living rooms with tv. Only thing that may be nice is having a microwave. You really are in the heart of everything! We only need to have a driver for the Vouliagmeni Thermal Spa And Temple Of Poseidon tour, which I highly recommend!

Great location, amazing rooftop views

I don't think we could have found a more central location with such nice amenities. We were 4 adults and two kids and had plenty of room to spread out. The apartment is well updated, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with the amazing views it offered. It was great to be able to walk out the front door and be so close to so many different restaurants, shops and historical sites. Looking up at the wall of the Acropolis was almost surreal. We would highly recommend a stay at Tripodon Plaka if you are heading to Athens. It was our favorite location on our two week trip to Italy and Greece. Jim met us on our arrival and showed us where everything was and he was available by text and even set up our pick up to return to the airport which took a lot of the stress out of the trip for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous Property Located in the Perfect Location

Making a reservation across the world is very challenging process. Not knowing if the pictures you are viewing of the property are actually as nice as seen on line. This home was amazing!! Exactly as shown and described in the pictures. The location was in the heart of the city with panoramic views of the Parthenon. The owner and management of this home assisted us in making arrangements for every step of our vacation, from picking us up at the airport upon arrival in Greece to transporting us to the Port of Pireaus for our cruise and our returning back to the unit for a second stay and then back to the airport for our return home to the U S. I would recommend this property to all travelers and hope to return there some day! Thank you!!

Stole our clothes

The location was good. That’s about it. The place could be cleaner. The beds are not comfortable. The bottom floor floods some when it rained. Our biggest problem was the clothes washer door broke and would not open. So the clothes were stuck in the washer. Not only did the property manager keep our clothes they charged us 100 euros and said we broke it. A door opens and closes. Not sure how we broke it. So stay here at your own risk. Bad communication that was delayed as well.

This is an amazing place to stay. The apartment was incredible. Very clean, tons of space, really nice modern design. But by far the best part about this place is the location. The property is a 5-10 minute walk to more restaurants and shops than you could count. You could stay at this property for a full week and never have to eat the same restaurant twice, and the restaurants are all amazing.There is also TONS of history to be seen in a very short easy walk from the property. This place was truly incredible.
