With 2 full beds in 2 bedrooms and a loft with a futon and ample room for sleeping bags (up to 6 people can fit comfortably), this tranquil retreat is perfect for small groups or families. Stay comfortable with heating and AC during your stay. Firepit for bonfires, dock for swimming, perfect spot on the lake! Enjoy your time in Eastport at our lovely house. Boat and docking for watercraft, not included in rental. There are several rental opportunities on the lake :)

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please put all trash, gathered in trash bags into the trash receptacle near the driveway
Please put all used towels into the basket labeled towels. Put all used bed linens, including pillow covers, sheets and blankets into basket labeled bedding. Please wash and return all dish-ware used
Cover grill, close umbrella and return outdoor chairs etc to their original location.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Super lovely location, close to a number of conveniences, and clean, nicely decorated place. Communication was lacking with host and accommodation description is misleading. Overall, we had a good time.

Amazing location and cute cottage. Would recommend leaving ac running if guests are checking in as the window ac cooled the place but took a few hours and it was close to 94 degrees out when we checked in. Would also recommend keeping a few coffee mugs for guests and doing a deeper clean of the bathroom.

Listing is not all it seems.

Listing states the property is 2 bedrooms plus a loft. Please note that the second bedroom is located in a separate structure that is not attached to the house. This was not clear in the listing. If you are staying with small children, I would not recommend this property.Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The floors in the separate structure had clearly not been cleaned. The patio furniture was covered in mold and the dock was in desperate need of a power wash. In addition, the trash can was overflowing from previous guests and the shed had 3, full bags of trash.The property does have A/C. However, it was 89 degrees inside upon our arrival. Be prepared to allow time for the house to cool down.The locks on the doors to both structures do not function properly and can be pushed open with minimal effort which is an obvious concern.The kitchen is minimally stocked and the coffee maker is broken.Communication with the host started off great. However, once these concerns were brought to her attention, communication stopped. The aesthetic of the property is adorably decorated with a lovely view of the lake. Having said that, I would not recommend due to the multiple concerns above.

Wish we had not rented this house. Here is a list of the shortcomings of this rental unit.On Vrbo, the property is described as "a house with 2 full beds in 2 bedrooms and a loft with a futon”. When in fact the house is a 1-bedroom with a loft and one bathroom, the second bedroom is “not" in the same building but in a small building behind the house, and is a one-bedroom with no bathroom, which presents a problem to those who need to use the restroom in the middle of the night.The living room area does not have drapes or shades, so those sleeping on the pull-out sectional will have trouble sleeping in when the sun rises.There is no futon in the loft, just a pad. The loft is made more for children, since it has a low ceiling, an adult can not stand upright. Also, the ladder to the loft is not built for adults, with short rungs, not angled and terrible handles. The AC in the main building is in the loft, there is a remote but you can’t see the AC settings from the first floor, necessitating climbing the “inadequate” ladder to see the temperature setting.There is no WI-FI The coffee maker is broken and no coffee mugsFurniture outside had to be scrubbed to remove mold and eat on the table House was 90 when we entered Towels smelled mustyWe were promised a credit of 100 since the house had a showing(house is for sale)and we had to leave. Also 25 for broken coffee maker she promised to have. She has ghosted meNightly rate is extremely high for what is provided.

Being on the north end of the lake is very peaceful and tranquil. It’s the perfect place to relax in a quiet setting. Noise curfew at 11pm.
