Our host was amazing and answered all of our questions. The property exceeded our expectations and was even better than described. It was truly a little piece of paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors and wildlife. Our family felt right at home, safe and comfortable. The property is private and the perfect location for a family vacation or a girls trip. I can’t wait to stay hear again!

We ran in to some issues with the water well when we were there. However the host was nice and took care of it for us. I will say the entrance into the property is a little precarious as you have to park in the road to open and close the gates when you come and go. But the property is a nice space and very private. The queen bed is downstairs and quite firm but ok. Upstairs king was comfy but the stairs were steep. It took a long time to cool down in there after arrival since it stays on 84 and it was over 100 outside. But eventually cooled down. The river is down the road but you have to pay to park. Best to just go to the state park. I would stay again as overall the property is a nice stay. The host communication was good and she is very nice and helped us out with the issue.

We had an amazing stay and would book again in a heartbeat. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Third Crossing, so river access was easy all week. The land is gorgeous with tons of open space, and our two dogs had a blast running around, this place is truly pet-friendly, not just in name. We saw all kinds of wildlife too, a great bonus for the whole family. The house was spotless top to bottom when we arrived, one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in. It's also genuinely family-friendly, with plenty to keep everyone entertained: a firepit, board games, yard games, and a big covered patio we used constantly. No pool or hot tub, but we didn't miss it since the free river access is so close. Tip: drive down to drop everyone at the river first, then park behind the property gate and walk down, much easier than carrying gear the whole way.The host really made the trip. On our last day I got a flat tire and had to run into Leakey to get it fixed. They were incredibly understanding, offered a late checkout without hesitation, and responded to every message almost instantly.Highly recommend this place for a family (and dog-friendly) getaway. Beautiful land, spotless house, great location, and a host who genuinely cares about their guests.
