Please note double occupancy reservations are for king bed only. Other beds are by request.

The private deck with outside seating and BBQ help to create an atmosphere of quiet relaxation among nature. Melt your worries with quiet walks on the shoreline or soak in the bubbling waters of the property`s six person shared hot tub, perfect for soothing any aches and pains after a long day of exploring.
Inside the cabin there is a welcoming king size bed and large Roku smart TV. For groups of four, we have two futons that each convert into a double bed. The en-suite bathroom features a tile rainwater shower with a bench. The amenities continue with a full kitchen including gas range, full fridge, microwave & dishwasher. The living area offers a gas fireplace (for colder weather stays), perfect for those taking in the storm watching season.
Evenings can be spent enjoying a glass of wine on your deck before snuggling up to watch a movie on TV. Or use your own kitchen & BBQ grill to create a romantic dinner.

This accommodation is suitable for groups or families of up to four (4). Prices are based on double occupancy, and we charges for extra guests over two (2). Children under the age of 2 that do not require an extra bed, stay for free. We supply all bedding except plastic mattress covers for futons.

THE PROPERTY:
Carolyn’s cove is one of the few accommodations in our area located on the ocean with its own private beach. The property is nestled on two acres of rainforest on the Ucluelet inlet.
We have the main house (directly on the ocean) which has 3 adults only (guests 13 and over) rooms in the walk out basement overlooking the inlet. Each room has their own private ensuite and entrance, bar fridge, keurig coffee & tea station. Our rooms open to a semi private patio, and common back yard with a 6 person hot tub along with patio table and chairs to soak in the beautiful surroundings. All rooms have their own TV, sitting area and high speed WiFi.

Newly added in 2022 is our Tranquil Tiny Home, located on the upper portion of our property. Guests of our 24t tiny home cabin have their own private deck with hottub, seating area and BBQ. The tiny home and Cozy Cove trailer are neighbours. Our tiny home cabin has a queen bed in the loft bedroom accessed by stairs. There is a kitchen with fridge, microwave, induction cooktop and all the utensils you will need for a romantic meal. There is a leather loveseat looking out at the ocean through double french doors. The cabin has a three piece bath with toilet, sink & shower, with a hot water on demand system.

At low tide walk on the beach, or spend your time bird watching - one guest identified 31 species on our shoreline. At high tide, watch for visiting seals and sea lions.

This rental cabin has its own private deck to enjoy the view, however you are welcome to make use of the shared 6 person hot tub near the main house (by appointment). We have a path leading to the shoreline where you can launch a kayak, stand up paddle board, or go for a walk. There are plenty of areas to set up a lawn chair and enjoy our little piece of rainforest paradise.

Carolyn’s Cove is all about quiet peaceful comfortable surroundings. There are plenty of quiet spaces, trails to hike or water activities to enjoy. Sit on your private deck to enjoy the ocean or rainforest views. It’s your vacation, let us help you make it memorable.

Ucluelet offers an abundance of outdoor activities such as stand up paddle boarding, surfing or bear and whale watching tours.
There are also plenty of places to take a walk.

Your options for getting around the area are easiest by vehicle, however another option might be riding a bike. Just keep in mind Ucluelet is 16km away.
If you need a ride to or from the bus terminal or Tofino airport, arrangements are available.

The maximum number of adults in the cabin is four. Our cabin charge is for the number of beds to be made available. ***Double occupancy provides for the king bed only.***
Please note:
1. you may find the occasional bug or spider in the accommodation as we live near water in the rainforest,
2. Hot tub use is not guaranteed during your stay due to unforseen circumstances including but not limited to repairs and maintenance. Use is by appointment only.
3. Due to Ucluelet`s remote location, there could be a disruption of power which could also affect water supply. There are no refunds for disruptions less than 24 hours in duration.
4. Due to unforseen circumstances, not all amenities are guaranteed to be available during your stay.
5. Our property is protected with outside security cameras at all entrances, public areas and over hot tubs.

Quiet time 10pm to 8am
We expected our guests to behave in a civilized manner and to be good neighbors with other guests.
If your actions disrupt the enjoyment of any of our other guest, you could be financially responsible for the cost of their nights stay. As well you could be asked to leave the property with no refund.

Self Check in is after 4pm, please respect quiet time hours by keeping noise to a minimum.

We do not allow the use of open flame appliances on our property. This includes the use of candles inside or outside the accommodation.

Check out: wash, clean, dry and put away all kitchen items that you use during your stay. Clean up any cooking messes (stove, oven, microwave etc). If you prefer that we complete check out tasks for you, we charge our cleaning fee rate of $50/hour.

Carolyn`s Cove is a registered accommodation provider. We want to let potential guests know that you will be visiting our Home on the ocean, which we are choosing to share with you. We want you to have an truly enjoyable visit while remembering to respect our property.

When you book with Carolyn`s Cove, You (the Guest) agree to the following Rental Agreement,

Registered Guests
Only REGISTERED guests are permitted to be on the Property and to use amenities owned and provided by Carolyn’s Cove. We will require ID from registering guest upon arrival. Unregistered guests found on the property will be asked to leave immediately, and further, registered guests found to be in contravention of this agreement may be asked to leave immediately with no refund of the reservation.

Damage Policy
The person making and paying for the rental of the accommodation is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from any damage beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs arising from improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, dry cleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft and any other damage noted on departure incurred, sustained or brought by any person occupying or using the accommodation. Any theft, lost items, excessive wear and tear, or damage will be charged to the reservation holder. As the reservation holder you are agreeing to be the person financially responsible for the rental, and any costs incurred by you or your guests and give Carolyn`s Cove full authority to charge the Credit Card number given at time of booking. Carolyn`s Cove has the right to charge your credit card in advance of repairs being completed and will refund the difference once any of the listed reasons above as been completed.

Keys
You are required to return all sets of keys provided by leaving them cabin upon checkout. There will be a $25 charge to replace any lost keys.

Septic System
ONLY human waste and the toilet paper provided are to be flushed. No food scrapes or other items are to be washed down the sinks. Drain stoppers in the showers and tubs are to be used at all times to protect hair and other foreign objects from entering the system. Violators of this house rule may be subject to charges to have the tank emptied.

GARBAGE/RECYCLING: guests on the property are required to seperate garbage from recycling and compost material. Information is provided in the accommodation. If you prefer that we complete this task for you after check out, we charge our cleaing fee rate of $50/hour.

Smoking & Vaping
For your health and enjoyment, our property is non-smoking/vaping. This is a zero tollerance rule. IF we find that you or any member of you group has been smoking/vaping anything on our property, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately with no refund.

Hot tub(s)
Accepting this reservation means that the use of the hot tub provided on the property is at your own risk. The hot tub is checked before and after your use to inspect the condition of the tub and the water. Absolutely NO food or drink is allowed in or around the hot tub. Our hot tubs are located within viewing of other guest, therefore there is absolutely NO Nudity or Sex allowed in public areas including the hot tubs. Failure to comply and you will be asked to leave with no refund. Please be sure to shower before using the hot tub to remove lotions, body oils, perspiration etc. We require a seperate swim suit for use in the hot tub which must be clean and are not to be used for anything else (tanning, on the beach or in any other bodies of water).
