The property was unfit for habitation and in clear violation of basic health and safety expectations.Upon arrival, we immediately observed:•Dirty, stained walls and baseboards•A leaking toilet•Roaches in the bathtub and crawling on the ceiling above the top bunk bed•Severely stained carpet on the stairs•A broken door knob•A filthy, stained couchThese conditions made the rental entirely unlivable. No one in our group was able to shower due to the roach infestation, which is both unsanitary and unacceptable. To add further embarrassment, we had family join us for tailgating, and the state of this home left us mortified.
