About this property

Historic 1855 farmhouse close to concert venue

It has been a dream for a long time to purchase an old farmhouse and restore it. That dream came true this year! We have put our heart and soul into renovating this beautiful 1855 house! Only 10 minutes away from the Maine savings amphitheater, you can be close to the concerts, but be in a safer area than Bangor. Step back into the 1950s and a simpler time with our neighborhood, where you will hear the friendly chatter and laughter of neighbors, walking their dogs and playing with their children, truly a peaceful retro feel to this beautiful historic neighborhood! With all the character of a beautiful old home, but with all the modern amenities, this is a wonderful place for a girls trip, or a family weekend away! Enjoy, peaceful sun filled mornings, listening to the chirping of the birds and watch the squirrels and chipmunks play. We even have a resident fox that lives, outback! Truly, a peaceful, beautiful escape from city life for every day schedules! If you do need to work while you are away from home, we have several very peaceful places, including our 30 foot long porch, where you can have a beautiful view of the kids playing and watch nature while getting some work done in your rocking chair, drinking some lemonade! This is an owner occupied property, however, you will have the entire floor plan of the bottom floor of the house, including your own laundry, full bathroom, full kitchen, full living room, full entryway, and full private 30 foot porch! Free parking on the premises, we do just ask your absolute help that there is no smoking or drug use of absolutely any kind, as we have children who are very sensitive and have respiratory issues to any kind of smoke use. We cannot wait to share our beautiful property with you that we have worked tirelessly on renovating!
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Very responsive host and super cute place! We stayed because we went to a concert in Bangor and we were very happy with how close this place was to the venue. The decor was extremely cute and feminine. We will stay again!

House was beautiful! Nice and peaceful, yet close enough to Bangor. Amanda made sure to make us feel welcome and her extra touches (flowers, candles, muffins) were perfect. We will definitely be back!

I have stayed at many properties over the years, in many places, and this is by far the most thoughtfully and best equipped property. The host was immediately responsive to my questions, all silly things like "where can I print a report". When stay here, you're staying in a welcoming home.
