Tucked into the trees between Donnelly and Cascade, Canary Getaway is built for quiet winter getaways. There are no close neighbors and no crowds, just snowy forest and a hot tub waiting at the end of the day.



Ski or ride Tamarack, try ice fishing on Lake Cascade, take a snowmobile out on the area's trails, or soak at Gold Fork Hot Springs. Then come back, warm up and unwind.

THE SPACE

• Primary bedroom: queen, plus a crib

• Guest bedroom: queen

• Bunk room: twin-over-twin and twin-over-full bunks (kids love it)

• Sleeps 6. The bunk room has extra beds, but with two bathrooms and seating for six, we cap stays at 6 guests so everyone's comfortable.



GOOD TO KNOW

• A classic West Mountain home, thoughtfully decorated. Comfortable, warm and unfussy.

• The hot tub sits under the roof overhang, and heat tape on the roof helps keep the path mostly clear.

• In snow season, the grill and deck furniture are put away.

• Because the house sits deep in the forest, please no open flames outdoors.

• No garage access.

About 5 minutes to Tamarack Resort and Lake Cascade, 10–15 minutes to Donnelly for groceries and gas, and about 30 minutes to McCall.

This was a perfect beautiful home for a couples weekend. Plenty of room, close to Tamarack, and the hot tub was a huge bonus. We can’t wait to go back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable. A couple things to be aware. Toilet paper: If there will be any women staying, bring backup toilet paper. Upon arrival there was 1/4 roll and 1/2 roll. We had 3-4 women and that is not enough. Paper towels were limited as well. Only barely a 1/4 roll. If we'd been aware of that before arriving we would've brought our own backup. Propane for bbq or fire pit:There was zero. A little bummed about that, since especially the fire pit was advertised in the listing. Jacuzzi was great to relax in after the day of exploring. I'd stay again if there was enough toilet paper.

We had wonderful stay at this cozy home located in just the right spot, just what my husband & I needed for a mountain escape close to the lake. It was an adorable place. Only thing is we had to shovel the walk way and the back walkway to the hottub and clean needles out of the hottub which forThe price maybe should have been taken care of and it was 55 degrees in the house which was pretty cold. But still had a great time
