Only 50 yards from Silver Lake, this Mears cottage has 3 inviting bedrooms with queen beds. The cozy second living room also offers 1 full bed for extra sleeping space. Guests can enjoy the tranquil surroundings and unwind in the peaceful atmosphere. With amenities like lake access and AC, your stay will be comfortable and stress-free. The private lake access with docking privileges is in the shared association lot that is just beyond the front yard of the cottage.

Outside there is a BBQ grill and Blackstone, large table and chairs for eating outside, and a front porch furnished with patio furniture. The driveway can hold 4 cars and 2 trailers (please check with us on the size of your 'toy' trailer).

We are within walking distance of Mac Wood Dune Rides and Whippy Dip! The house is two miles from the downtown area where you can enjoy things such as Chicken Shake and live music, many other restaurants, Craig Cruisers, watercraft rentals, Jeep/Quad/Buggy rentals, and shopping. We are also a few short minutes away from Little Sable Point where you can catch some of the best sunsets.

Everything was perfect, and a great comfortable stay for our group. The house had all that we needed. Plenty of room, great porch to sit, backyard was private, spacious for a bbq and campfire. Quiet neighborhood and places to walk, bike ride and swim. Loved it!!

This cottage was perfect for our group! It’s conveniently located near everything in the Silver Lake area. Close enough to the sand dunes to get your vehicles dune ready and then drive right on, near Little Sable Point lighthouse and beach and within walking distance to the Whippy Dip. Plenty of room in the driveway for three jeeps, a truck and car trailer. The cottage itself was very clean and cozy. Nice spaces inside or outside for meals and relaxing. I would stay here again!

The house was great ! Great location and the host was very responsive.! Was just bummed to find out that our street legal UTVs from Wisconsin are not legal in Michigan. So just be aware you must trailer around town. Boat rental options were great in the area as a backup as well.

Plenty of parking. Kitchen was well stocked will dishes, pots and pans. Toilet seats in both bathrooms are very loose, shortage of towels and as there is no washer and dryer, had to buy additional towels.

House was really cute, had everything we needed & worked out great for our group. Kids had a blast in the water playing next to boat dock. Great location, we walked to the Mac woods dune rides and to the pizza place down the street. Close to town. Devon was very responsive to all of our questions. Had some trouble with the TVs not staying connected but all in all we enjoyed the place. We would definitely stay here again.

The first impression was concerning - the entry opens right into a stairway leading to a dank basement, and the entry floor was full of leaves, cobwebs, and ant traps. However, once into the house itself, there’s a lovely and updated kitchen and living area. Two of the three bedrooms are quite small, and I suspect beds are full, not queen, size (cramped for 2 people). However, beds were otherwise comfortable and there are very nice outdoor spaces too. Plenty of parking. The location is great, right on Silver Lake. Bring extra towels, they were limited and there is no washer or dryer. Overall we enjoyed our stay; Deven was very helpful.

Michigan stay

We had a great stay in Michigan! The house was clean and well kept. I was in a great location mean the water, and near activities. The owner was super nice and very responsive to any and all questions/ problems. We had a blast, and would highly recommend!

The cottage was updated and comfortable, during our stay, in Mears. Close to everything! We liked having access to the pier, and water. Deven responded to any questions, in a timely manor. Would stay there again!

Good location between main Silver Lake downtown area, Lightshouse beach, and Silver Lake Dunes. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was perfect size for that group. Silver Lake is directly next to the property with a dock that you can wlk out on and check out the lake. We didn’t have a boat but there is dock access for a boat. We had to clean up the outside area and the grill a little to use but wasn’t terrible. Plenty of parking for 2 trucks and trailers with 2 side by sides.
