3rd time staying at this amazing house. It's spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of parking room. Hosts are nearby if anything is needed. It is the perfect place to stay.
Beautiful house - short walk to beach and centre of John O Groats Had great time in John O Groats brewery bar/catching up with family and spending time on our favourite beach/rocks at Auckengill - caught few lobsters in our lightweight creels x
Absolutely perfect! The photos do not do it justice! It's absolutely beautiful, the owners are lovely and couldn't do enough for us and were there is we needed anything. You made visiting family very easy with three dogs (not many places take more than 3)We will be booking again next time we are up this way!
The Ha is the perfect accommodation for a larger group, with tastefully decorated rooms and is spotlessly clean. Everything needed was in the house and walking distance from John o groats.
5 year staying at Ha house
Beautiful and very comfort house
Lots of room for big group (8) to stay without living on top of each other !
Hoping to revisit next year x
Wonderfully clean, well equipped and spacious property. We were a family of 5 and 2 dogs and the house was plenty big enough for us. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Will definitely return next year
At the end of a long journey to the north we received a great welcome in to a lovely farmhouse property on the edge of the village. it was a short walk from the property to the footpath that overlooked the Pentland firth with amazing views towards Orkney. Duncansby head a short drive or walk from the property is a must for bird watchers . we just missed an orca pod running through Pentland firth . but what impressive views were to be had all along the north coast. the property was very dog friendly and it was well stocked with all you would need for a wonderful stay . We shall not forget the lovely Ha farmhouse
The Ha Farmhouse is a very warm and welcoming place. The hosts Catherine and Andrew were very nice and helpful. We stayed almost 4 weeks over the holidays and Catherine decorated for Christmas - it was so cheerful and we loved it! The kitchen is perfect for cooking meals, and has plenty of seating for entertaining friends. There was a welcome pack with wine and goodies, also eggs, bread and butter, tea and coffee. The spaces are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The view from the conservatory is spectacular. We really appreciated it thought and care that Catherine and Andrew put into preparing the house for our visit. We hope to be back before too long!
Spotlessly clean and very well appointed dog friendly accommodation in a beautiful setting with sea views. The owners are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again.
Amazing property with generous sized rooms, comfy cosy beds, well equipped kitchen (could do with new chopping board & sharp knife), super games room, lots of games in sun room and lovely big enclosed garden for kids to safely play in. Excellent location to go exploring.
The property was very clean and felt Covid safe.
The sun room was very well used by my party as somewhere to sit and relax.
One slight issue, despite having 3 toilets there wasn’t any upstairs which was not insurmountable, just strange.
We had a fantastic time! Stunning location with lots to do and see. Lovely coastal walks and scenery. Hosts were really friendly and helpful when needed. Would definitely return !
Wonderful property, perfect for our week- hosts were lovely, house was excellent with loads of thoughtful touches, and the welcome pack was a treat. Location was ideal- day trips to Orkney, Wick, Thurso, castle exploring, coastal walks...loved it. Highly recommended, even nicer than it looks.
