About this property

Valley Overlook, Peninsula, Ohio - Glamping Tent P7

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape at Valley Overlook Campground. This charming "glamping" tent is nestled in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park offers an abundance of outdoor activities, including picturesque hiking and biking, farm markets, the historic village of Peninsula, Scenic Railroad, and more.

Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, our glamping tent in Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the perfect choice.

Inside, you'll find a spacious and inviting interior. The tent features two comfortable twin XL beds, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the park. Two chairs and a table provide a cozy spot to relax, read a book, or plan your next adventure.

Please note that this glamping tent does not have HVAC, allowing you to fully embrace the natural elements and enjoy the fresh air. We provide conventional linen and a blanket for the bed. Since this is an "outdoor" experience, we recommend always bring weather-appropriate layers!

An electrical outlet is available inside to plug in and keep your devices charged, and there is a table lamp on the bedside table. All electric devices should be fewer than 15 amps.

A shared restroom facility with showers is just a short walk away, ensuring convenience without sacrificing the authentic camping experience. Freshen up after a day of hiking or biking and feel rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. Towels are not provided, so please be sure to bring with you on your trip.

On some evenings, concerts at our neighbor, Blossom Music Center may be audible. The farm across the street utilizes propane canons during the day for a few weeks out of the year to deter birds from eating their corn.

Parking is available nearby. There is a short walk to the tent site.

No trailers or oversize vehicles without written approval before arrival.

Visitors and extra guests are not permitted without prior written approval.

We use security cameras to monitor our driveway; there are no recording devices of any kind inside or pointed directly at any living space.

Cold weather notes: Seasonal temperatures in our area can reach below freezing, and nights can be cool year-round. Standard bedding and blankets are provided. Heated/electric blankets are *not* provided. Please pack warm layers and appropriate sleeping gear. Low-wattage space heaters (10 amps / ~1200W max) are permitted, but they may not reliably warm the space and can overload the circuit. For better supplemental warmth, consider bringing your own heated blanket. Open-flame or fuel-burning heat sources prohibited inside the tent or on the deck.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Very nice We stayed in the canvas tent and it was hot. There was ceiling fan that really helped we happen to go on a stormy hot weekend and the power kept going off thank goodness it didn’t go off in the middle of the night cause that fan was a lifesaver. Short walk to the restroom.

Our stay was amazing! We booked because we had a concert at blossom and wanted to make a little vacation out of the event. I don’t know that anything needed to be different to make our stay more perfect.

Valley Overlook is a gem! I booked this location based solely on its proximity to the places I wanted to see in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I picked the right spot! This place is tucked back off the road, yet accessible to everything. The tent cabins are amazingly clean, and well thought out. From the beds separated by a small bedside table with a lamp, a large table with benches inside the cabin, two additional chairs inside, two outdoor chairs on the deck, strings of Edison bulbs to gently light the deck. I tend to like very rustic camping, but surgery on my shoulder this summer made me consider an easier option and this Glamping experience may have converted me. The bathrooms were a few yards from the tent, but the cleanliness made it worth the walk. I have never seen such clean bathrooms while camping. for the bathrooms alone! I also loved that vehicles had to stay in the parking lot. Too many times I’ve camped next to folks who get in and out of their cars 10 times a night, slamming the door every time. I much prefer hauling my gear with the provided Gorilla carts and not hearing doors slamming. The description mentioned the bird cannon from a nearby farm that goes off regularly during growing season. Yes, I heard them, and yes, they were noisy. However, after the first several, it blended in like trains blowing their horns or jet engines over head. I have already told multiple people about this great place, and I will definitely return.
