The location was absolutely perfect. We were just a couple minutes away from the white sandy beaches. The house was great. The pool was just right for our little ones.

Thanks for the great property. It was great for our family vacation. Everything you could need in your home was provided, helped make the week go smooth. We enjoyed the pool every day and a short little path to the beach. Coffee/ice cream shop and small grocery down a block meant everything we needed was within walking distance. Can’t wait to come back next year.

I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area!! The house is beautiful, family friendly, in a perfect location, clean, and the host was GREAT!! We will be booking here for all our future stays in the Gulf Shores area!!!

Fall Break Trip

This was a great house for our fall break trip. We had a couple of minor snags (oven falling apart, no handles/bars in the tubs) but the owner was quick to respond. The location is ideal. The pool is fantastic and spacious. Just a short walk to the beach and close to shops. The home is well stocked and was suitable for our family. The only suggestion beyond the updates needed is that the guests on the 1st floor had to travel upstairs for a bathroom and the only bathroom on the main level is in a master bedroom. Sort of inconvenient. Everything else about the stay was great!

We have rented several properties in the past. This was the worst. First, had issues getting into the property. Dead batteries. The house had set empty for a month causing mold to grow on kitchen table, cabinets & furniture. We has to go out & purchase cleaning products & clean house as none were provided. House was never opened up & aired out prior to our visit. House stunk! Didnt provide even dish soap for dishes. TVs didnt work, pool is only 2 1/2 feet deep. Great for children but not adults. We killed roaches all weekend. Dont waste your money!!

Fall Break 2022

The location was very convenient. The beach was not crowded at all in front of our rental property. Our host was very responsive. The upper floor was awesome for our grandchildren and their parents to have lots of room.

Great place for families

GREAT LOCATION! Have a store a block down the street for easy runs to get stuff. Plenty of room. Beach was clean and easy walk from house. Pool was great for kids because it was only like 3 foot deep. House was clean and we had no issues with it. Plenty of stuff in kitchen for cooking in house. Would highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent. I would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Big beautiful house

Kimberly the owner was very easy to reach and very helpful! The house was big and beautiful and had beach decor. We very much enjoyed our time we loved the pool and be able to be steps away from the beach!

Extended Family Beach Trip

This property was perfect for our extended family beach trip. The house was well organized to give us plenty of space to be together in the kitchen, dining, and family room, and the bedrooms were spread out to give everyone space/quiet when needed. The private pool area was great when we wanted a break from the ocean. The private beach access was convenient for everyone to go back and forth as needed. They property was exactly as advertised. Communication with the property manager was always clear and prompt. They were very responsive to all our questions. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Highly reccomend this property.

Our Family Getaway ----

We had a great week at SunGlade in Gulf Shores --- everything was exactly as shown on VRBO and we were even offered extra days on either end of the week since the property was available upon our trip dates ... that was very nice to even let us know that there was that option! Had plenty of room and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool ;-)

We loved the location to the beach. House was very nice, pool was very refreshing. Not so easy to find food delivered or take-out. Would have been nicer to have a bathroom downstairs. Lots of stairs.

Perfect getaway for us, our grown children, grandson, and parents…4 generations!

Hurricane Ida tried to join us on our trip, we politely turned her away. Perfect location, close to all activities but far enough away for some peace and quiet! We loved the direct access to “our” beach and the pool was a great addition. The host was very responsive to messages. We had a great time with family.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful week at Gulf Shores! We really enjoyed the pool and being right on the beach. This house was conveniently located with a small store and ice cream shop within walking distance. We frequented the store with buying ice. The refrigerator is pretty small to hold food and drinks for our family of 13. I would recommend this place to others for their family vacation. There are a few kitchen items that need added (crock pot/electric griddle/sharp knives) but overall was a nice place to stay.

Family vacation

This wasn’t the best property we’ve stayed in but definitely not the worse either. It was adequate. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, a pool to swim in, and it is close to everything. The owners were very easy to work with and handled any issue that came up. There was more to do in the checkout process than anyplace we’ve stayed before. I am not a fan of guest washing and putting up towels before leaving. From a clean and sanitized standpoint. I think a cleaning service might do better with an industrial washing process. Not knowing the previous guests, I just wasn’t sure how well they had been cleaned. I think this property needs to have a good deep cleaning, kitchen restocked with pots & pans, and be updated some with furniture, flooring, and paint. The air duct system up stairs needs to be cleaned and sanitized. In spite of everything I’ve mentioned, we had a fun family vacation. I just think the changes I’ve suggested would make this house top-notch.

Loved the location and layout

This house is perfect for our three generation family. My husband & I loved staying in the bedroom near the kitchen as we're early risers. Our daughter & son-in-law stayed upstairs in the bedroom near the bunk room where their young children slept. The other upstairs bedroom was perfect for our son and his wife. Awesome location on a stretch of beach that was never crowded, and having a private pool was wonderful for the littles when they grew tired of the beach. Plenty of parking for our three vehicles.

Great vacation!

We enjoyed our time at Gulf Shores, mostly due to the beach house. Everyone loved being right on the beach and also having a pool. House was clean. Kitchen was stocked nicely and had everything you could need. Great relaxing week!
