We had such a great stay - the place was perfect for our group. Plenty of space to play games and to just chill out. We would definitely stay here again. The owner was very quick with communication and provided clear check in and check out instructions.

Enough room for eight! The house was spacious and we never felt crowded. It was a great meet up place for our family. Everything in the house was clean and in order. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The home was fantastic. Perfect for what we needed. Got to see a whole little family of deer outside. Lol. Felt very safe overall with the entire process checking in. And the host was fantastic and no delays in responding. We enjoyed the pool table in the house. Loved that the fridge had an ice maker and dispensed water. We didn’t use the amenities, as we only stayed one night, but everything looked very nice! Was about a 25 min drive to Kalahari. Would definitely stay again.

The property was in a nice safe community, the house was roomy and well sized for a large group and the outside sitting area/firepit was nice. Hiwever, we were a bit disappointed as the pictures looked nicer than the actual home. The lighting was poor through most of the house and there were several maintenance issues that were not addressed/ignored such as the storm door spring being broken causing the door to slam, a lamp not working, and the sliding door on the first floor would not open. While the owner was responsive and helpful in the beginning, he did not respond promptly when we reached out at the time of check- in. There were some issues we needed resolved and the owner did not get back to us for almost 2 hours.Also, there was no flexibility in terms of checking in a little early and the only way to get a late checkout was to pay extra. I was surprised at that - my experience has always been that most vrbo hosts we'll let you check in a little early and check out a little later with no additional fee.

Sorry that your 2 hours early check in was accommodated due to the cleaning schedule. Some guests request 3-4 hours early check in, some guests request 2 hours early check in. Due to the cleaning schedule, it is fair for hosts to put extra fee to guests based on their different requests. In order to finish cleaning for few hours earlier, more cleaning staffs should be involved and it means that more more to cleaners should be paid. Who should pay the extra expenses in this situation?

Very great place, me and my friends really enjoyed the place. I highly suggest getting slippers/indoor only shoes as the floors can be dirty. The owner may send many messages of the same thing/the rules but it wasn’t enough to ruin my stay, I think I got about 2-3 the entire duration of my 5 day trip so not bad. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and would be open to again if in the area. There’s also a lot of deer in the community! They gave us no trouble when we were driving and we got to see many up close of the porch or through the windows!

Overall, great, clean property in a nice central location. However, we found the house was missing major kitchen accommodations: kitchen linens, butter knives, and baking pans. Also, the downstairs bathroom had no bath mats and the tile was extremely slippery when showering. We would stay here again knowing we would have to plan accordingly and bring extra supplies from home.

While smaller than anticipated, the house was perfect for what we needed. The only critic we had was that it was not as supplied as we'd like. For example, there was half a roll of paper towels and none other to be found, only 1 back up roll of toliet paper in each bathroom, and no baking sheets/oven safe cookware to use. Additionally, the supplied towels, while nice, we're very small and there were no hand towels in the bathrooms or kitchen. The host was very responsive and helpful. The security guards at the gate were mostly okay, but we did have a negative experience with one while trying to arrange doordash where the guard was aggressive and dismissive. All in all, I would return to the property as it's in a beautiful location and was a solid choice for a house.
