About this property

Glamping Casita RV on the Backbone with Stunning Views All Around

W.O.R.D. Permit L1763

Escape to Serenity in our charming Casita RV nestled in the breathtaking Texas hill country. Located just minutes from all the famous attractions, this space is perfect for nature lovers seeking to experience everything the Hill Country has to offer and enjoy the spectacular rolling sunsets from one of the area's highest peaks. Stay at our Glamping retreat for an unforgettable Hill Country Experience!

The camper comes equipped with a kitchenette stocked with dishes, cookware, a Keurig coffee maker, a small fridge, as well as a propane grill located just outside by the picnic table.

The interior living space features a full-size bed with 100% cotton linens and towels, overhead storage cabinets, a two-seat dining table, and a hot water shower.

Fill the birdbath in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee, or in the afternoon with a drink as you watch the breathtaking sunset. Watch a delightful parade of Hill Country birds from vibrant painted buntings and melodic mockingbirds to curious cardinals and chattering wrens - as they flock to the feeder.

Light up the fire pit as darkness falls and lose yourself in the Hill Country's famous star-filled skies - a celestial show that city lights can't match.

The space is located just 5 minutes from the Devil's Backbone Tavern, 15 minutes from Overlook Park (near the Dam), 20 minutes from floating the river at the Horseshoe and Whitewater Amphitheater, and about 20 minutes from Wimberley. San Marcos, a larger city, is approximately 25 minutes away, while New Braunfels is just under 40 minutes away.

Guest Access:
The entire area around the Casita RV camper, designated by privacy screens, includes the gazebo, fire pit, and grill, all of which are for the exclusive use of the guests.

The only shared area with the other house and tiny home vacation rentals on the property is the entrance gate area, which leads up to the interior driveway entrance of the space.

There may be other guests or owners nearby, but they will remain in their designated areas or properties and respect your privacy.

Please get in touch with the host via the platform or phone if you require assistance at any time.

Other things to note:
The space is situated on the same property as two other vacation rental homes and a neighboring property, all of which are approximately 100 feet away. We kindly request that you respect their privacy and access the amenities at your respective site only.

There is about a mile of unpaved gravel easement road that guests will need to drive through to reach the space (check the included picture). While some may not appreciate it, it offers an authentic country experience. For all the outdoorsy and fit folks out there, it's also great for walking (or jogging), where fantastic hilltop views of Canyon Lake can be seen.

The tiny cabin was great for 2 people. Definitely go in the daylight to find it easier but we did no problem. Glad I drive a Jeep because a low vehicle will not like the non-paved road. We are coffee drinkers, I brought some coffee but the cabin could use more. Also maybe bigger towels! But overall, the place was great for 2!
