Cabin was everything as promised in the ad and then some. The million dollar view is worth your time and money. The hosts were very gracious and took care of any request we had. For the bonus mama got her vacation wish of seeing bears that happened to stroll right by the cabin.

We had a great stay at this peaceful cabin in the mountains! The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family, and the views were absolutely breathtaking; especially from the kitchen window and the dining area. The outdoor chairs were a great touch for relaxing, and the hot tub felt private and serene. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, from utensils to a cute coffee bar setup. We also loved that we could bring our dog, she felt right at home and enjoyed the space as much as we did! One of the most memorable moments was seeing a bear and her cub right outside the window, it such an awesome experience! The only negative part of the experience was that there was a mouse issue during our stay, but Todd was very communicative and kind. He took it seriously and had someone out the same day to address it and said there would be continued work to resolve it. We really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to make things right. We hope it’s not a problem for future guests. Overall, it’s a lovely, comfortable, and peaceful place to unwind and take in the beauty of the Smokies.

Thank you so much Dan! Yes being in the mountains means sometimes the wildlife comes to you. We were happy we could evict the mouse so you and family could enjoy the mountains!

The cabin is in a great location and has amazing views. It is cozy, but a little smaller than we would have liked. Unfortunately, we experienced several issues…..including rats or mice in the attic bedroom that could be heard scurrying around all night long (we found openings in the closet that we plugged with towels to keep them from entering the bedroom), poor condition of the upstairs bathroom (shower floor, tiles, and curtain liner were disgusting), inadequate number of towels upon arrival, wasp that flew into the cabin from an inadequately sealed opening in the kids play area, and infestation of lady bugs that were everywhere inside the cabin (even on and inside the covers of the beds). The host was communicative, but did not seem to take these issues seriously enough to properly address them or offer any financial remuneration for a very expensive stay over Thanksgiving week. In addition, if you have more than one vehicle, parking is not easy, as the second car is a tight fit right up against a steep drop off. We would not stay at this cabin again.

Briana stayed with us over the Thanksgiving holiday. She reached out to us regarding pest issues at our cabin which we promptly addressed. Upon notification we had our pest control out at the cabin within hours. They could not find signs of a wasp nest or mice at all in the cabin after an extensive search. Mostly likely this was an animal on our metal roof. Briana was provided the correct amount of towels or the rental agreement but we brought over several more at her request within hours. Briana never mentioned the issues with the bathroom during her stay but we have replaced our shower curtain liner based on her feedback. Every issue Briana raised with us we took seriously and addressed within hours of her message. Everything was promptly responded to. We take issue that we do not care about our property. We even had a welcome basket waiting for Briana upon arrival. We feel Briana is not suited to cabins in the mountains and would do best to rent hotels in her future.
