The Space:

This rustic chalet with 3 bedrooms can accommodate up to 12 people.



On the first loor, you will find a large open area on the living room with 2 sofa-bed, kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped for family meals. The dining table can easily sit 12 people while the island can accommodate 3 additional people. The living room allows 10 people to sit and is equiped with a propane fireplace and a television. Also on this floor, you will find 2 bedrooms; one with a queen-size bed and the other with a double bed. A full bathroom with bath and shower as well as a second bathroom adjoining one of the bedrooms are also located there.



Upstairs, you will find a pool table with a television as well as the third bedroom with two double beds.



The main floor gives access to a very large covered patio with mosquito net, allowing you to fully enjoy the days outside. There, you will also find a space to cook on a BBQ, a dining table as well as a relaxing space with couches and a wood fireplace for the cooler evenings. A space for campfires is set up outside in addition to a petanque court. Good family moments are guaranteed at The Flying Canoe!



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire chalet as well as the full private property. There are no other chalets on the land, allowing you to enjoy the space in complete privacy.



Some buildings located on the property are garages used for maintenance purposes and are not accessible to guests.



Parking is available on site and the chalet offers a self check-in system with a door code for a simple and flexible arrival.



The Neighborhood:

The chalet is located in the heart of the beautiful Vallée Bras du Nord, a well known outdoor cooperative offering a wide range of nature activities such as hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and many seasonal outdoor experiences.



Downtown Saint Raymond is located about 20 minutes from the chalet. You will find all the essential amenities there including a grocery store, SAQ, restaurants, cafés and local shops.



Getting Around:

The Portneuf region is well known for its stunning natural landscapes, rivers and wide range of outdoor activities. Whether you enjoy hiking, snowmobiling, biking, fishing or simply relaxing in nature, the area offers many opportunities for a memorable stay.



Located about 50 minutes from Quebec City and 75 minutes from Trois Rivieres, the region is easy to reach while still offering a peaceful escape into nature.



Other Things to Note:

If you bring a dog to the cottage, it is important to follow these rules:



-The animal must never be left unattended and/or alone in the accommodation.

-The animal must be tied up at all times when it is outside the cottage. (Please provide the necessary equipment for this purpose)

-It is important that the animal does not make any noise (no barking or screaming that could disturb the neighbors).

-Comply with municipal regulations concerning animals.

-Do not allow the animal to climb on sofas and beds.

-Pick up all animal waste, both inside and outside.

-Be responsible for all costs related to damage caused by the animal.



-Bedding is included for the beds; however, please bring sleeping bags for sofa beds.



Please note that the outside fire area are available only during summer time.



The chalet is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. While it's not a central system, it typically ensures a comfortable temperature throughout the entire space.
