With the area still working itself back from the damage of Hurricane Helene, this was a great spot to stay and enjoy Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. The house was great and the view was very nice in the mornings. A very responsive host and enjoyed the interaction.

make sure to read all directions to community. GPS will take you the wrong way. community has private beach and river access that was wonderful. Be prepared for a drive if you want to visit Asheville, Black Mountain.

House was very well appointed. The only thing wrong was the gas fireplace would not work. Otherwise, very comfortable, everything we needed.

The home and location were all around great. There were wonderful accommodations in the home, including the fire pit and the hot tub, as well as a fully stocked kitchen of all appliances we needed! Beds and bathrooms were all clean, but cleaning could have been a little more thorough. My 18 month did find an old sippy cup with spoiled milk in it under one of the couches in the living room, and thankfully I got it from her before she could drink it, but other than that, we were very pleased with our stay!
