Walk to St. Augustine Distillery, Ice Plant, Fish Camp, La Nouvelle, microbreweries, cafes, and riverfront trails. Beaches (St. Augustine Beach/Vilano) are a short drive.
There is community pool (May-Sept), Pickleball courts, and large park 10 minute walk from the home at Vickers Park.

Beautiful home. It had everything you need being a traveler. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back to the Benedict House. We could easily walk to town and enjoy downtown St. Augustine.

The home was beautiful. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The major drawback was that the home was listed as having three beds, but one of them was not really accessible for our party of three, seeing it was up in a loft that you could only access from a rolling ladder that none of us felt secure, climbing. So two of us had to share a bed, which was not the intention. The owner did say they would modify the listing based on our feedback, but it was too late for us. The home is in very close walking distance to many of the major attractions downtown and we love that it was in an historic neighborhood with a lot of very significant history.

Guests were excellent. House was clean and well kept during their stay. Guests originally booked two guests for this home which is listed as a TWO bedroom. There is also loft and an air mattress but these are technically not bedrooms. Last minute, the guest added a 3rd guest. The loft has a library ladder which works similar to any ladder. Evidently these guests were in their 60s and not comfortable with using the ladder. The loft and ladder are clearly shown in the pictures and description. I offered to come to the property and demonstrate (I am 67) but they did not respond. I do not feel it is appropriate to give a four star review for something the guest knew well in advance.
