We had a short stay of 2 nights, but OH how I wish it were longer! Perfect space and pool for families! Secluded, but not far from town either, and the BEST views! We would love to return soon, as we only live about 3 hours away :)
If you're looking for a terrible experience, then this cabin is for you! We arrived to a cabin with chip crumbs in one of the beds, dead insects in the window pains, trash out by the pool from prior guests, a hottub with crud in it with a split in half top, rat poop in the kitchen and laundry room, and an actual living mouse in the master suites dresser drawers. We arrived july 3 with our 3 kids. After contacting the host about all the disgusting issues, our options were to either turn around and drive 5 hours back for a full refund, or tough it, as replacement places were too costly for the host. No partial refund or anything complimentary for our unsanitary troubles. They did send over the cleaning lady who just tried to blame us for not understanding that sometimes things like this just happen. She claimed to have time-stamped pictures of the house being completely cleaned without any mice, but refused to show us them when pressed. The five of us all slept upstairs to avoid the mice downstairs. This cabin was ridiculously expensive for what is had to offer, as we've stayed in far bigger cabins with more to offer, especially cleanliness, for much lower prices. We have been visiting Broken Bow for 9 years, and this was easily the grossest cabin we've ever stayed at and worst experience, but the host didn't care.We have videos of the mouse in the shelves and the dirtiness throughout the house if anyone is interested.
