Luxury detached House situated between historic Stirling and Callander

Luxury four-bedroom house located in a village setting a short distance from Stirling. The house, which comfortably sleeps 8 people, is an ideal base for large families, groups of friends looking for a luxury break or a special occasion. It features a large lounge with a wood-burning stove, a sun room with access to the upstairs patio area and the outside decking in the ample 1 acre garden and pond area with BBQ and outside furniture. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite while the fourth has use of the large downstairs bathroom. The large dining/kitchen (separate 8 seat dining room) features large free standing fridge/freezer and two double ovens. The house also features a large downstairs game's room which includes: pool table, table-tennis, Wii console, Play station 3 console as well as 42 and 50 inch televisions. There is ample parking for four vehicles and a two car garage.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location
Our stay was brilliant. The location enabled our first time visitors to Scotland to explore many of the sights they had heard of for many years. Storm Eowyn tried to disrupt our stay but Jimmy and Brenda quickly supplied a generator and made sure we had power when it went off. Would definitely go back again.

Fantastic Break at Doune
We stayed as a family at Brenda and Jimmys house . All I can say is Whoooo what a place , it was absolutely first class . So much to do for the kids and the adults in the games room . House was so well equipped and the space was unbelievable. So nice to revive such a lovely welcome pack . Can’t reckoned it highly enough

Pictures don’t do the house justice. It was much bigger than expected. Plenty of room for everyone which also allowed for privacy. There was nothing that I wanted or needed that wasn’t available. Loved it for precious family time. Host was very good and available if needed.

Outstanding. Everything you need, lots of thoughtful extras. We loved the games room and the big table to sit around to eat altogether. Rooms were clean and comfortable and there was so much space in the house to spread yourself around. Thank you so much to Brenda and Jim for all your help especially with the locking the car keys in the car. We would like to come back

This is the 5th time we've stayed at Burnside and won't be the last! Property is stunning and well equipped to suit. Short walk into Doune and handy for other areas. Highly recommend. Brenda and Jim extremely helpful as well.

Best holiday accommodation we've ever had. The feeling of space for extended family was perfect. So many activities such as a pool table, table tennis, play station etc Brenda and Jim are lovely hosts. On hand if ever we needed help with anything while completely respecting our privacy. The area has so many historical and natural attractions. We had a lovely boat ride on Loch Lomond. Also seen the Royal Yacht Britiannia, which was amazing. Can also recommend The Woodside in Doune for food. Absolutely delicious. All in all, a perfect holiday. Thanks again Brenda and Jim.

Even booking with extremely short notice, the property had everything and more a family could want. The finishing touches were luxurious but made you feel at home. Thank you to such fantastic hosts for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend this property to other families!

Perfect for the family. Plenty of rooms to relax, have your own space and the games room which came as a play area was perfect for the little ones, and adults. Lovely location for our family surround by some beauty spots of Scotland. Would recommend this place to those with small humans who have the option of their own space away from the kids chaos.

A group of friends and I stayed at this property as a pre-xmas getaway, the property could not have been any nicer and was way above our expectations - we would definitely stay again. The host was massively accommodating and had good communication throughout. I could not recommend this property enough.

Can't say anything but good things about this property. Big enough to take a party of 12 or more and you would still have room to find your own space. Location great for Edinburgh, Loch lomond,St Andrews all within an hour.Upside down house so might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues but you do get stunning views. Book it you will not be disappointed

An excellent stay in a beautiful home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burnside House. Although the photos show the property in an excellent light we did not expect the amount of space and facilities that we encountered. The welcome we received was excellent and our welcome selection was a fantastic touch. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped giving us the opportunity to create a range of meals for the seven of us. We could not fault the amount of living space and the grounds and garden were beautiful too. It was an excellent location for exploring and we hope to return to Burnside House.

Ideal family retreat
This very spacious and well equipped property catered for every age group of our family holiday. The games room and outdoor space was a great hit for the young and the balcony and deck area perfect for quiet contemplation. We had a wonderful week making lovely memories and we all had an amazing time. Its a beautiful house.

Beautiful house with everything you could need supplied . Peaceful location in an ideal spot to reach many destinations within 30 minutes . We loved everything from the huge lounge , en-suite bedrooms to the games room and table tennis in the garage. We had lovely weather and played games in the garden. We would all like to visit Burnside House again.

The pictures on Home and Away do not do this property justice, it is absolutely stunning.
