The location is private but close to amenities. The room was quaint and clean. The real gem is your host Drew... who's helpful, kind and makes a delicious breakfast! You'll enjoy your stay at Linden Homestead.
Great quiet countryside place run by down to earth, wonderful people. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious and hosts were friendly and gave great advice on what to do around the island.
Spent 4 nights here and used it as a home port for checking out PEI. Room was small but the bathroom was very large and had a nice shower and tub.
Breakfasts were wonderful.
Being my wife and I had never stayed in a B&B before ,we were pleasantly surprised by our stay.Drew and his wife were very accommodating and gave us directions to local sites .Also served a very good breakfast and conversation .
Loved the property/grounds - able to safely walk our puppy.
Loved the suite - the bathroom was particularly exquisite!
The breakfasts were 5-star!
The hosts were interesting and lovely people.
Lovely b and b, room was very clean, breakfast was great, communication and check in perfect. Great to have our own outside entrance to our room ! Thank you for everything. We will return!
My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights with our 2 small dogs. The king suite was spacious and clean. Drew was an incredible host and great to chat with! Breakfast in the morning was also delicious. I would recommend anyone looking for a simple countryside “just like home” place to stay to take a look at this wonderful B&B.
1st time staying at a B&B wasnt too sure on how things worked but everything went smoothly. Room was exactly as pictured spacious and comfy. Breakfast was homemade each morning, plenty and tasty! Should we ever get the chance to return we would stay here again as it was central to what we wanted to see and do. Great place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
We booked an extra day at Linden Homestead after so enjoying our stay and PEI! Our morning breakfast and chats with our friendly and knowledgeable host Drew and his equally friendly staff were a perfect start to our days. The location is central to the island for touring in all directions as well as being close to the Anne of Green Gables Heritage site. Quiet but a good place to listen to the birds in the morning! We would definitely stay again if we are ever so lucky as to return to the island…
I am absolutely going back as soon as I can! And bringing my dogs! The owner and staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and cozy in the cold off season. Breakfast was delicious each morning! I managed to borrow the owner's sweet dog to go for a walk with me and we walked on a quiet lane with farm fields on one side and the ocean/bay on the other - totally undisturbed for an hour or so. It was the most peaceful zen quiet ever. Also the backyard looks out on the bay through a few trees and it was so quiet and peaceful and BEAUTIFUL and cozy. The perfect way to get downtime in nature.
The suite is a basement suite with one large window and a walkout door in a 75 year old home. While the suite has been renovated it was dark and felt like a basement in humid location. A fabric couch at the front of the suite was soiled or stained with something….bit we were tired after driving all day so we stayed for the start of a 3 night booking.
Breakfast in the B&B was toast and yogurt followed by a few scrambled eggs and two slices of thin bacon with 3 slices of a banana on each plate….pretty basic and not anything close to the pictures on the website.
On the morning after our 2nd night I noticed undress of what looked like bug bites on my hands and feet. My hands swelled up significantly and many of the bites blistering. I showed the owner my hands and told him we were leaving early. He seemed very surprised and apologized. I messaged him later telling him the bites were likely from a mite infestation but didn’t hear back to see how he has dealt with the situation. I’m still pretty angry with the whole situation as I lost almost a week of vacation time medically treating the many bites and washing everything that entered the suite. Be very careful in this suite.
