The apartment is very cute with a beautiful kitchen. The location was convenient, although quite noisy at night.

This apartment was so charming. We loved all of the “old” details mixed with the modern. We lovingly named this place “Ol’ Squeaky” because the floors and the beds are pretty squeaky, but it didn’t bother us. It really just added to the charm. The stairs leading up are a bit steep but manageable. We chose this place because of how close it is to VCU Hospital, but it is so close to a lot of other things as well. The only downside was the parking. The spot designated for this apartment was a little hard to get into with my bigger vehicle. And if you have more than one vehicle, you have to park on the street. It’s free 6p-8a, but it’s only 3 hr parking other than that. So just be mindful of that. Also, it can be a bit loud outside for sure. But nothing that fans and/or sound machines can’t overcome. Overall, we really loved this place and would stay here again.

The host was welcoming, the location and amenities were fantastic. The beds and house were great. I can't rave enough about the cupola and the lighting in the living space. I loved the stay except for one thing. There was a plywood patch on the ceiling of the main bedroom and during an overnight downpour, water leaked down and suddenly poured onto my 70 year old aunt's face as she slept at 2:30 am. Unfortunately this leak repeated the next day as the rain continued. It was very disappointing and shocking. We sent an email to the host and placed a pot on the bed to prevent further water damage or mold, but did not hear a response from the proprty manager.

Great location, walkable to The Fan and Broad Street. 7-11 is right across the street which was nice to have so close. Large living room and kitchen. This is not a place if you have mobility issues - it's located on the second floor and accessed by a long outdoor staircase. Kitchen had plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, cooking utensils. Needs a few more pots and pans, and some medium/large bowls which I suggested to the property manager. Air conditioning worked great! It was hot and humid during my visit. Main Street can be a bit loud on Friday and Saturday night, but quieted down by 11pm and the bedrooms aren't at the front of the apartment. With a fan on, I hardly heard a thing. Will keep this in my favorites.
