Welcome to our enchanting Sunset Lakehouse in sunny Florida! Immerse yourself in the beauty of breathtaking sunsets from the comfort of our cozy retreat. This lakeside haven offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming right at your doorstep.

Enjoy lazy afternoons on the private dock, casting a line into the pristine waters, or embark on a boat excursion as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky in warm hues. The crystal-clear lake invites you for refreshing swims, creating unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Inside, the Lakehouse exudes charm and comfort, providing a peaceful sanctuary after a day of outdoor fun. Unwind in the spacious living area, savoring the panoramic views through large windows. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed on the porch overlooking the lake.

With nature as your backdrop, this is more than a getaway—it's an escape to tranquility. Your perfect lakeside retreat awaits!

**Lake Placid is a recreation spring fed lake. People like to swim, do watersports and fish year round. With that said, we do live in Florida and lake life includes MayFilies, Midges, Birds, Ducks and rarely you may spot an alligator. Please perform all water sports at your own risk.
We have installed a mosquito misting system to keep away the pesky mosquitos, midges and other lake bugs so you can come and enjoy your stay and spend more time outdoors.

No smokers.

One small pet is allowed and must be disclosed in the booking. We charge $100 extra pet fee to allow for extra cleaning, sanitation and home preparation for a pet.

Absolutely no parties. There is a maximum capacity of 8 people unless otherwise communicated with the host. If the host approves, additional persons may visit over the 8 person capacity. This is at the host's discretion.

Lake June Pontoon has boats and jetski's for rental. After booking, I am happy to provide your party a 10% discount code.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The dock lift is not for use, as well as the garage.
Please note we are on a septic system, do not flush anything besides toilet paper.
The property is on an open body of water with no fencing at the water’s edge. For safety reasons, children under 3 years old are not permitted.

We had the best time at this lake house! The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous, and the whole place felt so inviting and cared for. Everything was spotless—the beds were super comfy, the linens smelled fresh, and the furniture was like new. We spent hours out on the lake fishing and wakeboarding, etc, and the dock made it so easy to bring our boat. In the evenings, we all hung out in the air-conditioned Florida room, playing games and laughing together. It truly felt like a home away from home—we can’t wait to come back!

I purchased The Lazy Lake House at the end of 2021 after it had been quit neglected for many years. We spent a year renovating it to the beautiful house that it is today.
